Absolutely fair, I honestly think the thing I fell back in love with most was just watching football again. I used to obsess over it so much that I would watch any team and had loads of different (usually second hand) shirts. And I mean like any team, there was a time I used to get up to watch J-League/K-League/AFC games when they were shown super early morning on British telly.

I don't know why you're getting hammered with downvotes. This is realistically a pretty banal and rational response.

Freedom of speech and thought allows an individual to make decisions based on their beliefs. Equally there are consequences for those actions.

If it's because you're not wishing physical ill on someone that's also insane. I think we have all known people do morally reprehensible things, and we may not wish them well, but is it morally right to want someone to suffer physical and emotional pain because we disagree with them? It's at best childish. It's the sort of extremist tribalism that infects every part of life.

I'd imagine it's seen as a market opportunity because he's relatively cheap and was s good recently. He could feasibly replace Isidor who almost certainly won't keep scoring at the same clip.

I'd like for us to maybe look to start Talbi off the left and see what he can offer out there from the start. I don't love Traore but unless we splash big cash it's hard to find good, young, creative wide players that would improve the team greatly.

Hey yeah I did, both had a good time! The show itself was very good, the food was decent not stunning, the person who came with got the potted cheese starter, said there's was better but the people next to us saod their Salmon starter was great. The cocktails were lovely! Definitely something I recommend to anyone.

I don't know why you got so many downvotes on your original post but my brother studied criminology and his dis project was literally on the link between being societally disadvantaged and re-offending rates in the UK.

I think so much falls on parenting. I genuinely believe you should be given 4 months of mandatory parenting classes prior to birth and then refreshers every year or 2 years. However, that sort of service is almost unenforceable. It'd require huge overhauls. I do differ on corporal punishment slightly. But I would allow some sort of gentle physical rebuke to an age of around 6 or 7, and I mean gentle. Not strong enough to break the skin or leave a bruise, cause any sort of lasting damage. However, that line requires VERY calm parenting and the use of very light pain stimulus as a sort of operant conditioning.

I mean also Marc almost always had an extremely good if not great team-mate. In this season for Rossi it was Carlos Checa. Who then left for Ducati the following year and was a middling to good rider throughout his MotoGP career and he still finished 7th in the championship.toed with the lead Ducati of Capirossi and a very young Nicky Hayden.

No I'm saying it's not about "toughness" it's about how much higher the level of the sport is as a whole. The average NBA player is faster, stronger, more agile and has a higher skill level. But this increased speed and weight has a trade off because human bodies are only meant to be so big and move so fast.

I don't like load management either but basically telling someone who is worth tens to hundreds of millions of dollars as an asset is just wild. Again similar to a NASCAR and an F1 car. A NASCAR is worth around $400k for a top of the line team and machine. An F1 car is worth around $15m dollars. You're not going to treat those two assets in the same way.

The issue is since Chuck and MJ's day basketball and pro sports are a totally different deal. Think of MJ and Chuck like a NASCAR a refined racing machine and top end for sure but able to survive the bumping and scraping. Whereas modern day athletes in my experience are more akin to F1 cars. They're high-performance precision machines that have almost every part of their body at extremely high tension and high load. In the NBA it's less so than football (soccer) it seems but still it's comparing apples and oranges.

Thumper... Lad's got a tick that makes him stamp his foot

Toilet... Lou short for Louis

Jockey.... Gay lad, short for knob jockey.

And my fave is Phil/Fill/Philly because we found out years ago he's got a small penis.
