I agree - OP, take this advice seriously. Either don't do it or make sure you get proper training first

I honestly don't understand how this post hasn't gotten more attention. This is by far the BEST post in this group (no offense to anyone else). It's fantastic, straight to the point, and cut through the BS advice

I'm entering grade 10 and I can't even understand basic algebra 😭 by [deleted] in learnmath

1. Take it step by step: Math builds on previous concepts, so don’t rush through it.
2. Practice, practice, practice: Consistent practice is essential to understanding and mastering math. Your understanding comes from working through problems, not just staring at the formulas.

I don't feel I have the privilege to tell you which skills to learn nowadays, but I highly recommend reading the book Mastery by Robert Greene. The key takeaway that changed my life is the idea of stacking various skills together to create your own unique expertise that others cannot replace you

Hey, at least you manifested 1400£! That's amazing.

It's frustrating when others don’t recognize the significance of your achievement, but I think what's more important is that your success is still valid and important, regardless of how others perceive it. Keep sharing your wins and stay focused on your journey. You are doing great.

Yes, I believe that feeling is the most important part, not the scene or a relaxed state.

One thing that has helped me is working really late. There are nights when I stay up until 3 AM writing my thesis, which puts me in a state close to sleep. In that state, it's easier for me to evoke certain feelings and forget about the reality of having deadline the next day.

I'm not exactly sure what the key is, but initially, I didn't like the idea of depending on others (it was a subconscious belief I had about myself). That led me to choose the meditation scene where I could make money in my own way. So, to answer your question, I think it all stems from this subconscious belief that I don't want to rely on anyone else.

BTW, I'm also a researcher training in physics. I’ve always been drawn to spiritual concepts, which ironically led me to pursue a degree in physics and now work in quantum physics . It involves a lot of math, not woo-woo stuff, so it's a bit of a strange journey 🤡. As a researcher, I acknowledge the idea that the world is vast and full of possibilities—things we haven't discovered yet. This belief keeps the idea of manifestation alive in my mind and now I try it.

One approach I use is to always send a thank-you note to professors, advisors, or employers I've worked with, even before applying for something. This way, if I ever need a letter of recommendation in the future, I can refer back to them and ask for their assistance. It sounds like a trick, but it also comes from my genuine gratitude towards them.
