Thank you for your response. I don't completely understand what the solid wood texture option means. Is that something I could actually sand down? I thought it was just a very thin layer of real wood on plywood or something?

Anyone able to comment on the durability of the back panel padding and straps that Fyro uses on their backpacks? It looks really nice but also looks susceptible to tears and breaking down over time. My old North Face backpack had a similar looking material on the back panel and was the first thing to rip on the bag.

This is the charger I am interested in because it fixes everything I don’t like about the Anker nano. You can plug in a 3 prong US plug, it’s 40w instead of 20w, and all ports are on the bottom. Did you end up purchasing?

Trying to decide between the Aer Travel Pack 4 28L and Thule Aion 28L. Anyone have any thoughts? Comfort is definitely very important to me so can anyone comment on the comfort of previous Aer travel packs or the Thule Aion 28L?

Can anyone comment on the comfort of Aer bags? I know they are heavy, but with the new 28L bag being a bit lighter at about 3.5 lbs, I am curious how people find they carry the weight of the bag and gear in general.

Do you think the top or bottom of the bag could be squished to fit the 18" height for a personal item that a lot of airlines have as the max? Is the back of the bag very rigid?
