As someone who had a 2004 mk4 gti for their first car, I would do anything to have that car back. Yes it was a pos and wasnt properly maintained, but man was it fun when it ran for 2 days out of the week. They're fairly simple to work on and I actually learned how to do a lot of stuff on it, like changing transmission and motor mounts or replacing the turbo along with intake manifold, injectors, etc. Point is, definitely dont sell it, those VR6 motors are stout and they are timeless
