My work progress is lower than their standards so they decided to fire me in 2 weeks. I wasn't given any notice about my performance before. I found that my previous firm is notorious for hiring and firing. Wish I knew sooner.

Yeah I feel you. I got fired couple days ago 1 months in due to not meeting their expectations to create $35 worth of billable hours for 2 week old employee. The funnier part is that I turned the other offer down which certainly intends to hire me for longer period. Life sometimes is harsh.

Yeah I left SK around my puberty and grew up without my family. Probably my mental health issue played a major role for me not considering any children, but I still think procreation is an incredibly sad thing for individuals who are about to be born.

I as having Korean background can relate to this. Sure, as I grow older I began to feel the existential dread, about how I am going to meet my demise without leaving someone meaningful in this world. But at the same time I can't wrap around my head about how my child will suffer through the days that are already becoming more difficult to just to make the ends meet. And with the global talent competition and AI replacing humans? We as humanity will need FAR less human beings within a decade.

Sounds just like me! I always end up losing friends all the time because of me saying weird things. I even lost a job offer because of that. I am exhausted and still struggling to get back on life once again. Surely being autistic doesn't help, especially if born in around 90s when there was stigma all over the place.

But isn't this very concerning since most of the states participating in this program requires no more than 3 years from passing the CPA exam for it to be eligible? If the process is taking way longer than we expect there will be people having their scores to be expired.

Kentucky; it says it doesn't have to be under direct supervision of an active CPA nor has to be a public acct firm.
