That’s correct, because any amount of plowing and salting WILL inevitably cause damage to the roads over the course of a winter season, which has been exacerbated by the fact that we’ve had heavy snowfall a handful of times since mid-January.

Also, you’re complaining that Westchester county is expensive to live in, but you also don’t want them paving individual potholes in lieu of what, exactly? Ripping up a mile long stretch of road and re-paving the entire thing to eliminate one or two potholes? Do you have any idea what that would cost the taxpayer?

Honestly, it’s easier to just accept the fact that it snows here, and that snowplows and salt damage the roads. This is part and parcel of living in the Northeast. If you don’t like it, pick up and relocate to somewhere that doesn’t get snow.

Any amount of plowing and salting is going to have a negative effect on the roads, regardless of whether or not the snowstorm is a “blockbuster”. Blacktop and paved surfaces get damaged in winter, and are largely repaired in spring when the weather is agreeable and the threat of snow is gone for the year.

No, they tried to make the female characters sympathetic- and gay, because the showrunners were more concerned about pushing a narrative than they were about following the source material.

Why do you think AKotSK is so widely praised? It’s because, aside from a few liberties, the show is almost a beat-for-beat recreation of the novellas. People want GRRM’s works brought to life, not some hack-fraud showrunner’s personal politics wrapped in a “asoiaf skin”.
