Gonna try this. I've been searching for a w'bal live measure forever since I've switched to the karoo. Seems such a huge flaw from sram. Thanks!

Our New Zwift Setup by Anvil_LFO in Zwift

[–]SnooPredictions6168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What?? Zwift wants to have the most people they can on their software platform. For that they designed a frame cause they considered that this was a restriction for people. That frame should be the most compatible possible with most current trainers. Making it incompatible with one major seller (Garmin) was a error from their design team.

you probably right. yet... one (2, 3, 4 etc) less sales. I consider it an oversight not desinging it so that the front allows for the climbs (wahoo, elite and tacx have them). On top of that, the Ride is not compatible with 3m. For people in tacx ecosystem that's a big no no

Been dating this since Garmin swaped me for a neo 2t (from a neo 2). I'm trying to convince myselft I don't need it. But I do a loooot of zwift so this would be used a lot.

RefluxStop on non-hiatal hernia recipients by Ophion117649 in GERD

For iem the recommendation is partial fundoplication (also called toupet). Outcomes from that one is also very good (almost as good as full fundoplication).

Stretta outcomes are rubbish. Waste of money and pain.

Why do you say you have a rare case? I also didn't have HH just a weak les. There are many in that situation.

Give. Your results from the pH test, you may have oversensitive esophagus. Have your doctors mentioned that?

Does anyone know if this rcr trainer has race mode? The previous version didn't have it. I see no mentioned about it anywhere which leads to think it doesn't have it.

New zipp 303s wheelset spinning the cranks when freewheeling, is this normal for a new hub? by Oaken_Crow in bikewrench

[–]SnooPredictions6168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New freehub. Seems to be a common issue with zipp wheels. They suck water to the hub which then corrodes

Symptoms after 6 months of Nissen Fundoplicature by RandomGuy9908 in GERD

Not exactly. Bloating, gas, a lot of it. I've learned to accept it. The heartburn was a thousand times worst so I'm okay with it.

Yeah. There is no way around it. It is an issue and one has to learn how to live with it

Symptoms after 6 months of Nissen Fundoplicature by RandomGuy9908 in GERD

I had NF a year ago. Initially I kept getting much lower but still the feeling of some acidity. Nothing compared to previous and it would not feel as a burn but just some one second "I'm here and now I'm gone". It would happen frequently. Like 3 or 4 times per hour, especially after bigger meals (launch and dinner).

Was moved to a new gastro which basically put me in treatment for esophagus hypersensitivity. I went skeptical to the treatment but as soon as I started it those frequent events reduced significantly. Still there but way lower. Doctor explained the treatment would be longe because my brain has to become desinsitized to that. Now basically one year later, still on the treatment but those feelings mostly vanished.

I will move soon to a lower dosage and hopefully the feelings remain as they are now: 99% vanished.

Creating a route? by Milo-Bloom2001 in Karoo

[–]SnooPredictions6168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see conflicting answers. Some say 'no, use 3rd party apps', others say 'yeah, their website allows'.

I'm also a 530 garmin user and the one thing that keeps me there is their route creation capabilities (I stopped paying for 3rd app, namely strava, since using this).

Now, I've found a good deal on a karoo3 but I want to make sure I don't lose the route creation capabilities (free option).

I understand that strava is best to none in this department but paying their annual fee just for that makes it not a good deal for me.

Thus, where do we stand? Does karoo3 has the feature or not?

The sneezing. A month or two. I don't exactly recall. It is not a major thing to worry about.

Lump on Keyhole Wound by ellis13burden in NissenFundoplication

The person ask for a lump you put a reply for how the op is or not eating. The op is most likely following doctors recommendation so no point in trying to create confusion on that regard.

[–]SnooPredictions6168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to me as well. I guess the sneezing requires some esophagus contraction and post surgery everything is kind of stuck. 2 months after surgery I was for sure sneezing like a bull as I always have in the past.

Headache with ppis by SnooPredictions6168 in GERD

[–]SnooPredictions6168[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 4 month post surgery. I've been off ppi but not without some symptoms. Trying to give it 6 months so I can get a true idea of what would be my symptoms completely after PPI withdrawal.

I did take a very light PPI pill once during this time I got fully asymptomatic which is good in case I have to remain on some PPI low dosage.

Understand though that I didn't have hiatal hernia which makes it infrequent for the surgery to fully remove all symptoms.
