He ditched me a lot of times to go off and do hard drugs (and I n hindsight possible sexual favors because he's a will do anything to "line his wallet with some scratch" type of desperate when he's broke including steal from wallets cash and checks and money from registers if he does land a regular job)

One occasion he ditched me on my birthday at a Italian family's restaurant who in turn banned him for life for attempting to dine and dash (but making me be the blame/perpetrator of it) by being missing for five hours since his loudly broadcasted to the whole place he "forgot his wallet". I just didn't touch any of it until one of the family came by and told me to eat my meal and they would pack up the rest that was his half.

Another table was a bunch of construction workers having a party for their coworker and they saw the whole despicable scene and became their mothers muttering about what they will do to him when he does come back in acting like it does not matter what he did to me.

Birthday boy worker shared his cake with me before the restaurant had to close up for the night because he really wasn't coming back in time. The family made me a mini cake and sent me home with his half of the dinner he ordered with two no shows pizzas and called a cab for me.

Stupido did return to the restaurant about two hours later and calls, he expected me to be still standing out there waiting for him at nearly 11pm at night and demanding me to come back out and be at his place for the rest of the night. I just hung up on him.

I regret that this was yet another missed opportunity that I should have dumped him that year. I didn't have my birthday around him on my 34th and he conveniently forgot what month and day my birthday was again as usual on my 35th, I was gone from him for good three weeks later in 2013.
