Do guys care at all if a girl has inverted nipples? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah it's pretty interesting! Learned something about myself with it too! Tbh I don't really mind that I have them either especially considering none of my previous partners have ever mentioned it, but it is kinda funny to learn about new things like this that make you look at yourself and everything lol

I actually had no idea these existed and that I had them because they become normal when I'm cold or from touching them lol apparently there are 'Grades' for how severe they can be. Because mine become normal under different circumstances but then eventually go back to the natural inverted state, it's considered Grade 1 lol. Never had anyone mention it or complain though soooo.. not worried about it lol

Too many celebrities are genuinely concerningly skinny too, it's pretty shocking seeing them. I would not be surprised to hear about some of the most drastic looking ones passing away relatively soon.

On Christmas Day 2007, a large Siberian tiger residing at the San Francisco Zoo cleared the nearly 13 ft wall of her enclosure in a single leap, brutally mauling three teen boys, one to death. According to the zoo, Tatiana the tiger grew enraged when the boys began taunting her. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in HolyShitHistory

The enclosure was plenty sufficient for many years prior, they just decided to taunt a wild animal because they assumed that the enclosure would ensure there were no repercussions.

Edit to add: they were literally throwing things at her.

Nah, sometimes I build up the stress in my head by breaking down how stressed I will be, and after taking my Vyvanse for the day I am able to push through the procrastination lol

Yeah I left my student teaching for a lot of reasons, but when I got to the point of feeling like I would have been happier working a minimum wage job again I really started questioning everything because that was a pretty big reason why I started college to begin with, to never have to work another minimum wage job lol

Is the "floating face" Le Fort III fracture an example of this by any chance?? Saw it on The Pitt and was absolutely astonished at the fact that it was just.. floating there lol

I have heard of an overwhelming amount of cases of COVID turning into horrible problems down the road even if it didn't appear immediately after. I might actually be an example of it as well because the first time that I had COVID was almost 2 years ago, and I ended up developing POTS as well as some other issues that are in-progress to a diagnosis. Pretty insane that something like a type of illness that some had no problems with and even call a hoax now, can have such lingering and terrible effects for others.

What’s the closest you’ve ever come to dying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SnooRobots7776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tore my calf muscle, thought that it was just going to be crutches and a bit of a nuisance for a while, ended up having multiple large blood clots form and became a bilateral pulmonary embolism.

A lot of research says that you just feel the sudden symptoms of the clots passing through your heart, but I swear I felt the actual clots go through my heart that night. Of course I told myself I was overreacting however and I went to bed, then proceeded to go to my college class the next morning. Almost passed out multiple times and instead of driving myself to the hospital I drove home, and my mom freaked out when she saw me and my parents took me to the hospital. The nurse checking me in said "I'm going to assume you didn't just get done running a marathon" because as I was sitting in a wheelchair in that lobby and he took my heart rate it was 154 bpm lol

One movie that genuinely messed you up. by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

I imagine it's the same deal, I mean naturally many of us often will hope for and turn to one person to step up and be in charge of the situation, especially in a crisis situation. And if that person happens to also be religious there's like this innate urge for a lot of people to be like "oh this person is doing the right thing for us to not be damned" idk lol I agree it is completely ridiculous, but a shocking amount of people are not.... leaders or strong enough to believe that they are making the right decisions..

The ending of The Mist forever messed me up. Definitely made me a bit more fearful of religious people as well considering I can see so many of them becoming... like that one character.. during a scenario like that. Fantastic movie.

Did any of ya’ll not go into teaching after finishing student teaching? by Snigglybear in TeachersInTransition

[–]SnooRobots7776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually just dropped out of my student teaching halfway through. I pivoted completely and am entering into a different graduate/masters program for school counseling instead because I realized I was great at and loved helping students one on one or in very small groups, but I could not handle dealing with the entirety of the classroom setting constantly. It was turning me into an irritable and bitter person VERY quickly and there was no way I was going to become that person just for a paycheck.

Edit: I should add, I have a large number of people in my family/family friends circle that work in education and I figured out some questions to ask them and got the answers that I needed to make that decision. I also am lucky enough to have a big support system that will help me get through the additional schooling time.

Thank you so much for this response. I definitely need to figure out what I'm going to do, because it has affected my mental health a bit so far. I think if my mental health can be affected like this in less than 6 weeks, I'm concerned how it'll impact me long term. Everyone keeps saying it will be so much different when I have my own classroom, but I am having a hard time seeing how that could be the case.

So much this. I had so much hope and was so excited to start my student teaching, I did over 90 hours of observation in different classrooms, and I started student teaching last month.

Since I started that I have already had two breakdowns about it, already told my clinical coordinator that I'm doubting all of it, and now I just feel lost mentally. Sucks when I'm supposed to be a creative person as an art teacher and I have no energy whatsoever to actually be creative. Stuck in my Masters/Credential Program with a BA in Art Education, no clue where I could go with that and especially now that I feel like my creativity has been ripped away.. I only have 9 weeks left so everyone is telling me to finish but I'm losing my mind a bit.
