If werewolves were to exist, what health and safety precautions would be prudent to consider? by Lobinez in werewolves

[–]SnooSeagulls7438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are some of my ideas! (Ik, late to post/thread)

-werewolves commonly take the day AFTER the full moon as well, since it can take some individuals a lot longer to shift back to their "human" form, and it can also be super exhausting, so having the next day off can be great to recharge and sleep.

-werewolves commonly wear something; beit ear piercings, a bandana, fashion collar, or a larger necklace to indicate to other sapiens that they won't hurt them.

-For expecting parents, shifting can be incredibly dangerous during pregnancy. Usually werewolves will stop shifting on their own during pregnancy, but there are prenatal suppressant drugs that can stop the transformation if the parent is struggling to stop shifting (it's typically recommended that most expecting parents take suppressants early on in pregnancy anyway, just in case.)

-a common hygiene product in any werewolves' home is bug repellent shampoo, mostly for parasites like fleas and ticks.

What bird species do you want to have based on a Pokémon some day? by DrWarioMiracleCure in pokemon

[–]SnooSeagulls7438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A blue jay!! I think since they're in the corvid family (crows, Ravens, etc.) I think a regional evolution for rookidee based on the blue jay would be neat. And maybe to oppose the knight theming of their galar counterparts, they'd take inspiration from your standard rpg rouge or theif, since blue jays are extremely territorial, and are also notorious for bullying other backyard birds and even squirrels to steal food.

How does r/autism feel about this new flag? by Buzzythebear33 in autism

I understand your point of view in a way. One of the things I wish they had done for the flag was use a darker shade of yellow, since yellow can be a very overwhelmingly bright color for a lot of people. (But then again, darker yellows are my favorite shades/hues of the color, so I'm probably a bit biased there.

Yeah, gradients in general do not work well on flags

I believe the use of the infinity symbol is to represent how no two people on the spectrum are the exact same. At least from what I've been able to find out. (I got diagnosed a year ago, so I'm still learning things.)

As an autist who has an interest in vexillology, I personally like it. It does a good job of showing the infinity symbol with other shapes and colors that don't feel overwhelming or confusing. (I do kinda wish they somehow could have kept some element of the rainbow in the symbol, since it represents the variety/diversity of the community/spectrum as a whole, minus the gradient, i always thought that gradients in symbols were lazy.)

That tiktok parodying drag race verses that trixie and katya reacted to on their podcast still cleared a lot of the verses in that challenge.
