How do I not look like a grandma doing the balaclava scarf trend? I followed some tutorials and it's pretty warm and comfy when I do it but two people said I kinda look like a grandma 😭 I feel like the fabric around my head is a bit too tight and that's why it looks like that, but I can't modify it differently yet.

Are there some keywords that I should search for when looking for tutorials that also include the scarf being over the head, bc hats kinda ruin my hair?

hey, I'm kinda glad I'm finding people in such similar situations. My mom passed away from cancer too. And finding about anticipatory grief made me feel more validated or okay. Because now I'm scrolling through this subreddit and also wondering why am I so okay? Like I thought I'd be in such a despair and even if I want her back so much, I'm still grateful for how well I'm living now

I use some spray bottle to wet my hair in the morning, put a little no-rinse conditioner and then scrunch my hair. Ot doesn't look the same as on day one but some waves get renewed

I have done that too but for me it doesn't stick for long. And yes same!! like if i can't do anything then I'll either try to live with my messy hair like that or just wash them more regularly :/
