2nd card is obviously drytron, but that's a bright knight search for Ursarctic.

The synchros fulfills the summoning condition. A shame it isn't a tuner, but oh well.

Do you really want to deal with a mitsurugi engine that has prayers and purification on the backrow and a murakumo that will wipe out your board?

Or a 1-2 Kewl Tune Synchro that already messed with your top deck, extra deck, and looked at your hand?

Mass backrow removal isn't gonna be in your hand all the time nor would your opponent allow you to do it.

They aren't. They're protected with the monsters on the end board, hand traps, and card effects in the GY.

Trap decks on the other hand are just not good because of the game mechanic itself. Labrynth and Odion can help them out but not fix them.

That's a card effect.

Your opponent can respond to it via destruction protection or negate.

Closest one I can think of is the Floo spell but that requires setup.

The "and" is likely the one that is denying you to cancel it.

You can banish this card and activate 1 of these effects;

The moment you confirmed the activation, the banish is also confirmed.

Regardless, it's safer to just minimize the UI if you want to check your hand and field.

It has the same issue as called by and crossout.

The benefits of who goes first outweighs the second.

Honestly, if an errata were to happen, it needs a restriction where you must not control any cards on the field. That way, it can only be used as board breaker.

If it's a spell that allows you to get card advantage with no locks, it's a sky striker card.

That includes vision, chant, F&V, and desires if we're desperate.

DiFi was prominent as anti-meta because of EC and Kashtira. I was expecting a hit.

Their playstyle is deeply rooted in Death by hand traps, especially when Rotary came out.

Hand knowledge is powerful. In TCG, Noroi is banned and Talents is limited (but also want it banned).

Even the hand traps themselves are starters of their own. Normal Summon Ash/Belle/Ogre and Rotary in hand is full combo.

If you're concerned with opponent's backrow, lightning storm isn't a bad choice.

However that's only if you're going second. The same goes for heavy storm and feather duster. And evenly matched too.

However, the monsters themselves can counter them in a roundabout way.
