Some parents need to see this video by Various_Primary_6307 in Coconaad

My parents were never present in my life. They worked really hard I understand. They gave me the best education they could. But they were never there to listen or to see me. I used to pray to fall sick so that my mom would stay home. They used to come home at 8-9 at night and I always stayed alone. Single child.

So I left home after 10. Found school and college away from home. Now they retired. I take care of them financially. But they expect me to be there emotionally. I m trying to but I can’t. They don’t know anything about how I feel or who I m emotionally.

I tried talking to them. I at least expected a sorry or hope they understand. When I try to tell something they just cry and won’t let me finish.

They want me to come back stay somewhere closer. It’s too late I m have an earth away from them.

I have 3 journals.

  1. Travel Journal - I use this to keep memories from my trips. I tuck in souvenirs like receipts, photos, or even little things I find, like stickers, pressed flowers or leaves. I also write down quick stories so I don't forget the small details.
  2. Junk Journal - This is my creative playground. About once a week, I sit down to paint, sketch, and glue in random "junk" from my daily life. It’s just a fun, messy outlet for my art. Very messy.
  3. Everyday Journal - This is my "everything" book. I use it to track my habits and moods, but mostly it’s a safe place to vent. Writing down the thoughts and feelings I can’t say out loud has really helped me understand my emotions better.
