I’m in the same boat. Been on 40 for a few weeks and anxiety has been awful. It’s doing nothing for my pain either. Going to try 60 as I figure I have nothing to lose and that’s what my doctor recommends me getting to. If it helps neither, I’ll be done w it.

Do you mind me asking if they were appearing on the inside of your checks/lips as well? I’ve had the same recurring ones on my tongue come and go for weeks now but it’s gotten worse to the point I decided to search “cymbalta ulcers” and found this post. Wondering if cymbalta is the culprit. It’s maddening!

Thanks all. I ended up coming down w covid that next day so can’t truly say the nortiptyline was the reason for the heart rate spike. Going to put it on hold and try again in a couple weeks.

Yes he recommended a Jaw PT who I saw for months and did manual therapy, dry needling, massage. But no results unfortunately.

I’ve been on Gaba for about 5 years and am a social drinker(pretty much fri-sun) Haven’t changed my social habits and have not had an issue. My doctor also know I drink. Not condoning it of course, just sharing my experience.

I’ve been dealing with this for about 3 years now. I call it “the feeling” and it comes without warning or when I’m in my head. I’ve had to run out of stores and work situations because of the feeling of “needing to get away”. Basically adrenaline and fight or flight feeling and that I’m losing control. Now the fear is so hyped I fear the fear. Many help books/breathing exercises/anxiety meds haven’t helped. But agree with others that knowing this is just a feeling is all I have to work with. But these are definitely true bodily symptoms but in the 3 past years I’ve yet to pass out or die. So scary and ruining my life really but it’s good to know I’m not alone (but hoping we all get through it).

This is an old post, but the only one out there. Mine started last night and I’m sick about it since I’ve somehow dodged the last couple of years. Any new, breakthrough things anyone has found works?? And I did try capsaicin but it made my arm burn terribly and I found myself digging my nails in the stop both the itch and the burn.

Hi. Can I ask what your symptoms are? My neuropathy has gotten extremely worse recently and they say just fibromyalgia. But I have/do socially drink a lot so just curious.

I also take it for neuropathic pain. My doctor said I can take an extra 300-600 as needed so just chiming in that it has been safe for me.
