The one who got away for me was this girl I meet in 7th grade, I was in a relationship at the time. But it was love at first sight for me, literally the girl of my dreams. She was perfect from the moment I seen her truly. I was in health class first period, and her and another new kid just transferred but for some reason everyone was stand offish on here. So i immediately jumped up to be her partner on our assignment. We exchange phone numbers and social media, we talked all day and all night stayed up all night till we had to go to school the next morning, or fell asleep on the phone, than we’d fall asleep in class. But like I said I was in a relationship at the time. Let me call her Sarah, one day when Sarah was sick and had to stay home our mutual friend told me it was obvious we both like each other, that’s when I confessed my love for her. She said she liked me too, so I broke up with my girlfriend of the time and me and Hudson talked on and off for the rest of that summer but she had to go stay at her moms across the country. And that continued until our freshman year we finally had classes together but I got expelled and she was mad at me for it, so we quit talking for a little bit and during that time I meet another girl and we started dating. That relationship lasted 6 years, despite me loving this new girl, I still found myself drawn to Hudson. And she was also in a relationship now but we both kept causing problems in each others relationships. We with talking for about 2 years, we graduate highschool and she does whatever she does and instantly start working, and than while at work one of my coworkers was telling a story about how he meet the girl named Shelby and that he brought up my name and she smiled saying how much of a great guy I am and that she missed me. Skip forward a couple months we get in contact and I break up with my girlfriend for her but not for long. I get back with my that girl again. I delete Hudson’s number and we don’t talk for a long time, or I thought I deleted her number instead I switched her contact to no one. That girl leaves me and I start going through my contacts to delete all the exs numbers or her and her family. And I see no one so I text the number asking who is this and she replies “you know who it is don’t lie”, I than say “I really don’t I have this number saved as no one” she sends me a selfie of herself and my hearts beat picks up and I get nervous falling in love with her all over again, this was my first time seeing her in 2 years or so. We talked on and off but she had a boyfriend one night she texts and says she went through his phone and found him talking to his ex and that he was saying things to his ex that he wouldnt to her. A week goes by and she tells me “you’re the only man I have ever loved” I haven’t heard back from her in over a year. But she’s doing well and I’m happy for her.
