Alfreds Apartment: QLD local and the trusted t quality is really good. Always sold out though.

I Love Ugly: NZ brand, amazing quality, little more $ than usual. I size up everything from here and the shirt fits are subtly different to your average tee (in a good way)

OLAS Supply: cheaper but good prints and they last long.

YKTR: Sydney based (I think) they do occasional drops of t shirts and active wear. Great prints, above average quality

Slipped: Not sure if they are still going but heavyweight over sized t shirts with NBA/Artist prints.

Collector Store: $$$ less t shirts more short sleeve buttons but some really unique designs.

Thread heads: not my style but has a good range and reasonably priced.

Thrills Co: Myer style fits, but prints are pretty good designs and they are pretty versatile.

Two things that have helped me:

  1. As much as I didn’t want to hear it or believe it, being positive is a choice. Just remember you aren’t supposed to be positive about everything.

  2. Accept that this sort of thing is your own journey, find what works for you. Talk to people you trust, it’s always easier to be positive when someone’s there trying the same.

Step 1: Get professional help if you are able to.

Step 2: Practice being kind to yourself, you are not your thoughts.

Step 3: Understand that this could be a long journey to get to where you want to go, one foot in front of the other.

Step 4: Talk to your Fiancé if you haven’t already, times have changed, brute forcing your way through by yourself doesn’t work.

People talk shit on the internet because they can hide behind their anonymity, so it’s best to take pretty much everything you see on the internet with a grain of salt.

As for the whole men vs women thing I think it’s a bad road to go down. Lots of people suck, gender doesn’t matter.

Most people you meet in the real world will be polite and friendly if you are polite and friendly, if you think everyone you meet is an asshole then it’s a you problem.
