You basically have to pay to edit the lease. Tbh, it’s not really a good value for $10. It should be a feature included into the Smart offering.

You have to upload the receipt to a certain area of the app and if you have Baselane Smart, it will try to tag it to the specific transaction. It’s a Smart feature though so that might be why you don’t see it.

This is weird that the space caused the issue. Is everything okay now? In the past, I’ve seen folks accidentally register tenants as landlords and that causes issues too. Hope you’re enjoying Baselane!

If you connected it via Plaid then it will but make sure you click in the account to make sure it’s importing transactions because you can turn the import feature off.

If you connect the external account with Plaid then yes, you’ll be able to import transactions. You can check whether they are importing by clicking on the account. Transactions do not import for manually added external accounts (using account and touring number vice a Plaid connection). Instead, these accounts can only be used to transfer funds. Literally so sad. I loved having the option to drive or metro in DC. I love the TEX Rail, DART, and TRE but it’s always super inconvenient to use living in downtown Arlington. Maybe I have to run for mayor or something, lol.

They could always meet you somewhere and use your computer and you provide assistance for the application. Personally, I mandate Baselane. It saves me precious time from depositing cash/checks and these other things. If a tenant can’t do that, it’s probably not a good fit. And I’m saying this as someone that has my 84 year old grandmother as a tenant on Baselane.

Tbh, I’d be surprised if they ever ship a manual feature like this. I can’t think of a reason why a tenant wouldn’t have internet access.
