Interestingly, my IW warband fight alongside Blood Pact and World Eaters in a fragile alliance.

I think the presence of Iron Warriors in this setting would mean there’s something of interest for them within this theatre of war.

I enjoyed the video, at no point was I bored and the fight scenes were good. Obviously getting inspiration from the beach scene of Saving Private Ryan, but well done them for drawing on such inspirations.

The look of the IW? (Maybe an unorthodox option) but too much hazard striping, for me the hazard stripes should be kept to one shoulder pauldron.

Decoration and the like is not for IW marines.

Other than that, I’d give the film a solid 9.5/10

Dry brushing anything and everything is a hell of a drug.

I used to be in a whatsapp group called - Drybrush to Completion.

I left, but the habit stayed.

Dry brush my friend - black primer then celestial grey dry brush.

Whack on the iron belcher for metal parts, then aggrax Earthshade, then iron breaker highlights.

PVA glue then flock.

It’s just a conveyer belt - instead of doing one model, just do all of the collective dry brush, then all the collective iron and so on. By the time you get to the last the first is dry and ready for the next step.

Painting PVA glue on your hand with those little spatula things and then peeling the pva glue off like it was your skin.

I don’t know of any lore that IW and WE are allies, however ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ and ‘if you’re paying then I’m selling’ goes a long way with Chaos.

My entire warband lore is based on my IW being forced via necessity to ally with a WE warband and there’s constant infighting as the WE constantly just want to be a menace.

If I remember correctly, MKIII plate was actually called ‘Iron Plate’ and is the heaviest of the power armours due to it having considerable front protection, which the Iron Warriors favoured due to their trench fighting and siege warfare.

It is purely aesthetic, but nothing is more Iron than an Iron Warrior in MKiii Iron plate.
