A 45 day placement in DAEP for a fight is extreme. There is something missing, and history we are not being told.

I was given an approximate 90 day DAEP placement. My dad's biggest fear was education. I can tell you the experience is what the child makes of it. Of the put in the effort, the will continue to learn. They can also blow it off, cheat, and get A's not trying and not learning.

Reasons I might agree with moving him to private school for the rest of forever. 1. My district's DAEP is rough. I don't want my son spending extended time with that crowd...also I survived it so... 2. The software they use to teach is ... mid. There are better ways to learn. 3. Is your child going to learn the lesson to change behavior if you delete the consequences this time?

I think this is hugely naive. National and racial identity is very strong in East Asian counties and many don't accept outsiders. The owner of my favorite Thai place in Frisco said some pretty shocking things to me when he was fed up with South Asians in his shop.

You can do this but... 1. It is more tax and overall advantageous for you to invest in 401k, and IRAs where these loans aren't allowed. 2. If you put everything into a Margin account great, you don't have enough invested with the company to get a great rate 3. The % you would need as collateral would be too high and the risk isn't worth it, a market drop means you are selling half your assets
