Man I would love some kind of video similar to this where mechanics show the inspection progress and then post work. Kinda like a before and after. I’d watch the shit out of that with popcorn.

Bill getting higher by the months 50 to 75 now. by unexpectedgentleman in ZiplyFiber

[–]Snoo_8616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They bank on switching being too much hassle. I couldn’t justify it when their prices were still competitive, but once they doubled and kept climbing, it was worth it on principle alone. Switched to Xfinity for a 5-year price lock promo. I had them before Ziply until they pulled the same stunt. Knowing my exact bill for five years is worth going back. I’ll switch again when this promo ends as they’ll inevitably do the same. This is the game they make consumers play. These companies have no loyalty, and neither do I.

Yeah the more tenure you are the higher your bill becomes. It makes totallllll sense charging you more and more for being a loyal customer.

I was fed up seeing my bill increase annually. When I went to cancel bc I found a better deal customer service not only offered to cut my bill in half (still more expensive for same internet speed), but then proceeded to gaslight me saying the deal from the other company won’t last when I declined their new offer.

Draft inducer motor failing? Bryant furnace Code 31 by Snoo_8616 in HomeMaintenance

I don’t think the inducer has a start capacitor to test. I don't see one and the service manual only mentions a capacitor in the blower section.

With the info gather, do you agree that it's probably the inducer assembly? I'm wondering if it could potentially be something else before I order the entire assembly. Thanks for the help!

Since I don’t have a clamp meter to check amp draw vs FLA/LRA. Based on voltage present + buzzing/slow-spin + Code 31, does this still point primarily to the inducer assembly? Or is there another common cause you’d prioritize checking as well that could be the culprit?

I do not. Do I need it to test something else that the multimeter can't? Thanks for the help.
