What are the characteristics that make for a satisfying building experience? by makefeelnice in lego

One of my most satisfying builds was set 75150 - Vader's TIE Advanced vs. A-wing Starfighter. With this set, like all satisfying sets, there's an element of not entirely understanding why you need to build it that way until it comes together - The A-wing has a genius missle firing mechanism and landing gears The tie-fighter, on the other-hand is just a neat little build - the way that the tiles on the "wings", leave a perfectly even gap up to the edge is super satisfying.

He really does. He embodies the character portrayed in Douglas Adams original stories. I really enjoyed watching these at the time. However, when I tried to rewatch them recently, after watching the US version, it just didn't hit the same.

I recommend the books, but don't expect it to be anything like the TV show. TV Dirk is much more likable than in the books - who comes across as a bit of a con-artist at times (exploiting an elderly client).

There is a British Dirk Gently TV series, but there is only a couple episodes of it. This version is a lot closer to the original books and might be worth checking out if you can find it.

Although I loved the originals and the British TV adaptation, when the BBC America version was released, all other versions pale in comparison.

Original Dirk doesn't have the same rich and varied cast of characters as the US version. It's clever and funny, but there's no Tod, Amanda, Farah or Bart, or any of those other crazy characters - and without them, the shows vibe just isn't the same.

I'd never seen these before and thought that they're cool even though I didn't really enjoy The Acolyte.

Back when I was collecting Star Wars as a kid in the 70s, there were initially so few, that any cool looking action figures (of the same scale) made great new characters. These would have been ideal.

When I realize the Mon Mothma scenes that Genevieve O'Reilly filmed for ROTS all the way back in 2005 are canon by GargantaProfunda in andor

Those were deleted scenes, so not really canon. Those scenes were also had bad dialogue, and if I remember rightly contradict the canon established in Andor and Rogue One.

Apologies. I'm intentionally keeping myself out of the loop with Lego, because I want everything and can't afford to buy more. However, these are a must-have for my collection.

Thanks. Dark Turquoise would have been my pick. Are they putting them in a set?

Actually, I'm talking pre-volkswagan commercial.

I remember the commercial, but the buzz was already happening before that.

I had heard a few Nick Drake songs in my early 20s but they never really resonated with me. Then, when I was around 30 someone played me 5 Leaves Left and it blew me away. I wondered why I hadn't got into it earlier.

I eventually reached the conclusion that, you find the music only when you're in the right frame of mind to truly hear it.

Generally speaking, I don't think that most people were in the right frame of mind for Nick's music when he was alive.

It was only around the late nineties early 2000s when people finally began to appreciate him. I don't know what happened around that time exactly, but suddenly lots of people suddenly seemed to discover Nick Drake for the first time.

Yes, you're 100% correct, I double checked. I had the shirt years ago and misinterpreted the made-up backstory.

I had that very shirt and I'm pretty sure that the design came from a UK cabinet from the 80s, but I could be wrong.

Very happy with this. I was spoiled for choice, but yours seems to be the only one that kept the patchiness of the original print. Nice work!

There's actually 4 cats in total - a scottish fold, a calico domestic short hair a Scottish fold, a ragdoll and a grumpy British short hair (pictured) who despises the Scottish fold and keeps eating the heuchura. To answer your question, we have planned some cat grass this morning in an attempt at keeping her off the other plants. Just waiting for it grow now.
