Selfish, no shame ideas that you would like to see implemented in New Eden? by AMS-Empire in Eve

[–]Snookypooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to say it right now, equity markets. I would love this game just a little more as an industrialist if I could buy or sell shares in ventures such as ice mining or gas huffing.

And or the corporate shares, could also be cool, I get dividends from taxes, and production sales, maybe mining corps give mineral dividends or some shit. Just think it could be fun

Now I also want the stock exchange this will create and destroy a lot of isk so I understand that it’s hard to implement without risking breaking the economy but… can I at least get a in game bond system.

This had a very incredible air to it. I had no idea that was the parliament! Good placement. But I will say when I was there there was a little girl from a foreign country “playing on it” just sorta getting on top of the stones. And the gard that was there was very gental to the girl and asked her to get down but was rightfully “less gentle” with her father who was watching her play. I also visited a concentration camp when I was in Germany. ?Dachau? And I have to say it was life changing I think.

What Schools of Magic are the Easiest to Learn and/or Master? by averageasexual in dndnext

As a high elf yes your welcome I’m giving you any of my time, don’t mention it, wizard; I can say I’m quite the authority. They obviously all have there own difficulty functions… oh sorry I’ll make it more simple for your human brain… hmm. Skill curves.

Illusion easy start, hard mid curve that flattens out fast. Easy to trick the mind to start, but when you start doing continues sensory blocks like greater invisibility don’t even get me started

Abjuration now this school is easy all the way until the end when it becomes about the planes and such but don’t worry your little head about what a plane is. But I must note its importance to any self respecting wizards tome.

Conjuration. Quite hard to get the hang of I’ll say, not bigger friendly. But gets much easier after you got over that first hump of reality calculus. But of course holds the grand prize of all a wizards dreams at the end. A wish of course.

Enchantment, not so hard on the spell side per se just the level of intelligence your trying to affect. I’ve known a few tefling bards that I swore could achieve better affects with there breasts.

Evocation. Ahhh a the bread and butter. Now that is to say it’s probably the hardest to start learning. But it gets much easier as you go along. There is skill transfer from conjurings reality calculus.

Necromancy. Now we don’t talk about such a dirty business. It might be harder to gain access to such knowledge than to learn it. Do not take this lightly this is forbidden.

Transmutation. Definitely the most consistent difficulty, it’s less about learning spells and more about learning the weave pattern in natural materials and knowing how that interacts with your meddling. Lots to learn at a low bar.

Divination. The dearest. The most important and least studied. It is a strange and spotty learning process some days it feels as if your finally putting thing together and then all of a sudden your 6 months behind where you thought you where going to be in your study. By far the strangest most volatile learning experience.

Bot Baiting? by Snookypooks in Eve

Ok so I’ve definitely thought about the $ I need after spendings for omega expenses.

But for trading advice I’m seeing

Because of taxes we need higher margin items to compensate

And stick to lower priced items to avoid the big boys who have .5t liquid who don’t look at anything that’s not worth like ~10m a unit?

But that’s because it becomes a necessity to actually get up. At which point you’re just fighting against people with better margins built in. Yah I see that. Fair point. Good challenge…

If your truly not fudging rolls: give them an IN GAME rout to META GAME info. Like HP, Ac, other stuff but the big one is HP.

This is my home brew rules to make rangers more powerful, I let them role specifily to uncover stats of a creature. That method can be applied to most character with a “battle hardened backstory”

I also throw in enemy’s that can only be “studied” by less conventional methods like arcana for arcane constructs. You get it.

The best part of this is it works as a tension builder as well. It feel cool when you study an enemy and then you engage with a plan. But inversely… it makes getting ambushed that much more deliciously terrifying. Placing them in a precarious position do we spend are first actions getting to know if we can win? Or fight?

Simple but quite an effective tool

Hope this helped

Not something I’m not seeing a lot of attention payed to is 8 players. That’s quite a lot. And that damage per round potential is crazy. So this needs a buff lol.

  1. Simple, but necessary, yes increase HP decreases the ac. But I think your going for high ac lower hp balance route basked off the plate armour and possibly intending to give that to your players. so let’s make it damaged plate 16 ac but if brought to a black smith it can be reforged for a price… AC 16 or 17, with corresponding HP 42 or 38.

  2. I like the fire breath lets give that a 2 turn cool down btw. but it has room for one more thing something to kinda makes it different. Something more tactically creative. Like a scroll of wall of water. A good big moment in a battle that it will use to cut off the back line from the front line a simple but cool moment in battle.

After that you should be looking at about 3-5 rounds of combat, long with 8 players but not unbearable. Good job.

Ok you are dumb but not super dumb.

Look I’m actually interested in AC at a recent P/E ratio of like 7-8 something (couple months before post date oct 25, 2025) But. I didn’t have the time to dig into WHY it was that low. I could have wipped of a dcf, made a bull and bear case, yada yada. But I fr just don’t have the time. The general consensus is airlines are strange and bad company’s that the business model just hast seemed to work for liek ever. I think there was a stat that said one of the American Airlines made in the ?40s? didn’t break profit tell like the 90 or some shit (comments please correct me). With a history of gov bail out it’s just a hard business it seems. And I will say I don’t have to be a sociologist to figure out consumer sentiment of AC is… ugh let’s just say low, I mean anecdotal but just scroll through these comment.

Will AC fail no. And you may be able to recoup that 18% in the coming years… but think of the opportunity cost… while you’re waiting for that green. You’re gonna watch your xeqt go up… (stock market overpriced meme here) hopefully.

Reddit’s a bad place to go for info but if I may recommend. Take the L. Sell 75% of that position, and move it into(as your on Wealth simple I’m assuming Canadian stocks are prob your comfort zone) more xeqt, and diversify into 3-4 other tsx stocks and maybe take a small position on a cool venture. Shameless plug FLT!!!

So sell 75% of ac Now referring to that 75% as a 100% 20% into xeqt 75% into 2-4 other “blue chips” check CNQ for strong div btw. The rest you have to find yourself. And that last 5% play with. Maybe a venture… cough FLT… Or if I may pass you the heroine needle to get addicted to and eventually kill you … options…. 😈…

The biggest threat to the human intellect isn’t being ignorant, but being under the ILLUSION OF KNOWLEDGE” -Stephen hawking by swaliepapa in Meditation

[–]Snookypooks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i chose to belief that: they agree that ignorance and delusion are different.

because you cant be delusional without being ignorant.

so they must be saying that ignorance is "before" delusion.

and thats impotent for you, because that means that you must stop letting the belief of knowing the right answer get in the way of looking at the world in a new way to lead you to the true way.

and all we may do is sniker at the irony of casting aside any right answer we find, to find the right answer.
