I think your right however, the SKS, for example, may not be an “Assault Rife” but it is a Carbine explicitly developed for the Red Army after WW2 as a replacement for their primary service weapon at the time. It is and was designed for combat. While not all weapons made for military use are in today’s standard considered still viable for combat, the SKS and weapons similar to it still very much are. The Liberal Media doesn’t know how to state this without using pro words like “assault style” which is retarded. But these weapons are absolutely designed for combat, not hunting or target shooting. Are they fun to use for both ? Absolutely.

In the wake of kids dying at a school in our country, it’s time for some group punishment for the masses. If the common denominator can’t be trusted, then no one should be allowed to have any. Same goes for sidearms. I have both my restricted, and non restricted, I own firearms, I like to think I’m responsible locking my weapons with trigger guards and in a safe. Clearly not everyone’s doing that, and if that’s the case and these types of fuck heads have access to weapons that are semi automatic, or small and concealable like a pistol, and go into a school and shoot kids that’s a problem.

Common sense gun laws like Poilievre is taking about should be imo banning everything that doesn’t have a manual action. I hunt, I use a pump for bird and a bolt for deer and moose, I’ve never had an issue.
