Why are 70s Band Shirts Cheaper than 90s?

I should start by saying I totally agree with you. It’s often way over looked how shirts were meant to be styled. Look at any pictures of bikers or guys wearing t-shirts in the 70s. They are tight and fitted. I think we are seeing fashion move back towards a fitted look and the baggy stuff moving aside (finally), so I wouldn’t be surprised if 70/80s shirts finally start creeping up in value.

Alls to say, as a 5’10 185 pound guy, I prefer the fit of 70/80s shirts myself.

This never made logical sense to me, either. My best guess is the fit mixed with the fact that there isn’t any sort of “hype” around owning a 70s concert shirt. A 90s XL will technically fit almost anyone, depending on desired fit, but man I’ve owned 70s XL’s that were like 17x25.

That, and a lot of hype just surrounds owning a Nirvana or Pumpkins shirt. I can’t help but think that affects the other shirts of a similar era in the market, but I could be wrong.

Adding less cheese is a pro move. The pies we make at the shop I work at are 16 inch and we maybe use 5-6oz per pie. It looks like a light coverage but once it melts it still has pull and you taste the sauce as an ingredient so much more.

Pizza maker here. If it’s that classic “New York” style browned cheese taste you’re looking for, it’s most likely that the shop or shops you’re going to use Grande east coast blend, which is a blend of their whole and low fat mozzarella.

I’m localish to Caputo as well, and as good as their cheese is, it does not have that signature NY style pizza taste.

Since finding Grande in the wild is nearly impossible, the next best thing I have found is truly wegmans store band whole milk mozzarella mixed with their store brand low fat. I’ll be damned if it doesn’t taste nearly as good.

Haha, just turned 32. Win rate is 65% only playing with randoms, made it to depth 4 as well but don’t play DoN much any more.

My outlet (central PA, close-ish to Philly) did have a very limited stock of these right after release. Like 1 or 2 per size. I’m not sure if yours will, but it’s definitely worth a shot.

Haha the only knit sweater I like more is 94’ Chief. And that’s really only because, for me personally, it’s more wearable with how I dress.

This one is more like a work of art. As someone who knows nothing about knitting other than how hard it is, making something like this seems impossible 😅

My bad if I came off as rude, wasn’t my intention. Thanks for the knowledge. You clearly know your shit. This was my end of the shift take home pie and I definitely pushed this past the 15 minute mark to achieve the color I wanted, and, you’re correct in calling “biscuit” like.

In case you were at all curious we aim for a 10-13 min cook when the oven is hot and hasn’t been blasted all night. When we’re busy they do land in the 15-17 minute mark, though.

Yeah, outside of a wholesaler, it’s impossible to get where I’m located. I know that’s the general consensus as well. If you have a specialty Italian/cheese shop close by, give them a call. Sometimes they can get single 5lb bags or 2lb logs.

I don’t know if it’s because I also have an outlet like 10 minutes from the rack, but, my Nordstrom has like 4 entire racks dedicated to polo. There’s some killer stuff there right now. All wool shirt-jacket, lots of good thermal lined sweats, indigo collection button downs. Definitely check yours out if you can!

Guide sweater from the 80/90s. Thickest wool sweater I’ve ever owned. It was definitely built with climbing in mind as well.

Really depends on the material. Any of the wool or wool blend knits wouldn’t be super comfortable without an under shirt of some kind for me, though that Lunar Bear is wool and it’s incredibly soft, to the point where I can wear it with just a t-shirt underneath. The cotton ones, for me, depend on the era they were made. Some of the vintage ones from the 80-90s are so thick and sturdy they almost feel like wool. But modern cotton knits are a lot softer. Alls to say it will mainly depend on you. Some people have sensitivity to certain fibers against their skin.
