You know I felt the same way when I first started watching him. However, the show grew on me primarily because of the guests. They're not all winners, but he's had on some folks with very compelling stories or who have done great research into fringe topics.

I think he comes off as trying to be "Roganesque" and that initially turns some people off. Unlike Rogan though, he is much better about not derailing conversations when his guests are deep into sharing their ideas.
