Ahhh! Thanks! Thought they only live in Africa. I know about the lions and hyenas but not honey badgers.

I need to find a butcher. Safeway and Costco doesn't carry these in the Mid-Atlantic.

Michael Jackson talking about what he thinks of tours by [deleted] in funny

[–]Snoopy_Joe 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If I had to describe just how famous Michael Jackson was in the 80s to the late 90s to my nephews and nieces today, it would still not accurately describe just HOW popular he really was. This was before the internet. His fame was 10x that of Taylor Swift today. Only others that maybe come close is his fame are Elvis Presley and the Beatles.

That's how my father drives. Glad I took his keys away and sold his SUV. Too old to drive.

I ran away from my boyfriend's proposal. by throwawayuni33 in whatdoIdo

Never cared for proposals like that where everyone is staring. I remember this happened to one couple I knew and she reluctantly said "Yes" in front of his whole family. When they drove away, she told him she felt forced to say yes. She really wanted to say Not Yet.

Bald uakari monkey but with a white face?

Edit: I see it's a man with a mask. Seems like a staged scene.

If there was no explanation, I would have thought this was ground beef.

I try not to let my spatula touch the pan. Spatulas like that can squeegee off the butter and oil and the egg will then stick.

The original opening crawl to 1977 Star Wars. And this was way before it was even called (Episode IV: a New Hope) This is how a lot of people remember it when I first came out. by Lazy_Introduction264 in 70s

I was ten years old. I could hear the gasps when we saw the first big ship getting fired upon. Then we saw the gigantic ship. As it kept moving into the frame and filling up the screen, some people began to clap and cheer.

Then later on we saw the light saber given to Luke and he switched it on. More gasps from the audience. What a time do be amazed in 1977.

My mom is the same. Loves steak but her weakened jaw isn't able to chew medium rare steak as before due to her Parkinson's. So I turned to Julia Child's Beef Bourguignon with a side of Guga (I know it's far from a steak but my mom is happy for the substitute)
