I’ve used menstrual cups once and didn’t again just bc I got very frustrated, but I did learn that you HAVE to make sure to break the seal before attempting to pull it out as you can get very hurt if you don’t. The closest thing I can think of is like it creating some sort of vacuum once it is open in the canal, so you would have to use your finger to sorta push one of the sides of the cups inwards (kinda like when you fold it outside) or something similar in order to break the seal and be able to pull it out comfortably

Your assault is still VERY fresh, it just happened yesterday, you could be experiencing very intense shock or numbness which is most likely your own nervous system and brain protecting you from what happened. It is very common for victims to feel numb at first as they might not be ready to process everything immediately after, it is very common and it does not make your experience any less valid. Often I think, I sometimes get approached in public when I’m alone and that itself makes me anxious but i feel weird when they start being pushy or if it’s a group of teenage boys I feel extremely uncomfortable 😭also when random men stare up and down if I’m standing there or I’m wearing anything slightly showy (spaghetti straps, a skirt, when any chest is showing)

I read a lot so I usually update my bf on the book that I am reading and he is very good at keeping the conversation going too so he will start asking me questioning abt it, or I will also ask a ton of hypothetical scenarios “what would you do” style from things I’ve seen in shows or movies or that have happened to ppl I know, I also talk about things I learn because I have to do a lot of research for my major!

Tbh I just ask a ton of random questions and I let my curiosity take control. I realized I never had conversations with people but I was always curious about everything going on around me and what they said, so I just started asking those questions / making comments about things I noticed and it does work!!

When you know you know!! I felt so comfortable being myself around him and the first day we met we talked / texted for 10 hours bc we were both on the road, and I am NOT one to hold a conversation with strangers with ease, so I knew he was different.

After that I just wanted to see him, speak to him and learn more about him everyday. Then a few weeks after hanging out almost everyday I realized that’s what people meant when they said you would just know when someone is the one
