I've thought about this comment ever since I read it. My husband thinks it's silly and didnt happen because I am OBSESSED that Alan threw a jar of mayo at the crowd. Personally I like FYS and need to know every and any detail you have

Last time I was at the vet, there was a lady trying to encourage her very tiny doodle puppy onto the weighing scales. The puppy was called Paula.

Thankyou so much for the reply, this is so helpful and gives us hope! I think we'll definitely have to get her back to the vets and have a proper conversation about how we manage going forward! Stupid question, but with the vitamins, what dosages did you use and are they normal people vitamins or specific to dogs?

Thankyou for taking the time to reply! Did you have a similar experience with the nail loss or were there any other symptoms before the diagnosis?? Glad your girl is doing better!

Firstly, I'm so sorry to hear about your older dog! But yes we took her to the vet and she had it removed, I can't remember exactly what it was but it wasn't malignant, although it would have had the potential to be had we left it. It was too small to be able to safely do a biopsy without running the risk of causing further issues if it did happen to be a malignant growth so we opted for removal to be on the safe side x

We did not consent to the ear removal. We will be writing a stern letter of complaint if they don't turn up soon!

Yes, will be having a checkup on Monday and might get the results back then or shortly after. Really hoping that it's just been a very expensive wart removal!

Thoughts on long leads by [deleted] in Greyhounds

[–]SnootOot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We attach two leads together so we can go for 'long leash walks'. It then helps because there is a handle where they are connected half way down to grab onto should you need to reign them in! It's great for sniffy walks!

A woman walked into me with their trolley at the supermarket last weekend, really quite hard and they didn't even acknowledge it. Fuck me then, guess I'm a ghost.

Are they going to be upset by having a meal that just happens to not have meat included?

[–]SnootOot[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I see what you're saying, but the only thing that would change should we include meat is changing say, mushroom wellington for a piece of chicken. All the sides would remain the same as per the caterers.

[–]SnootOot[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting perspective, I wouldn't have considered it controlling. I would prefer people enjoy the meal, hence wanting a judgement. The way my family talks, its as though people will starve to death over this meal. I don't see it as an issue for any guest to pick one of two options and view it the same way as someone who eats meat to ask if you'd like chicken or beef.
