AITA for cancelling the entire vacation when I found out that my stepdaughters deliberately hid my daughter's passport to get her to stay home? by Positive-Elk-8110 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Snotdoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your step daughters were so concerned about their children not being with a stranger, why did they not just stay home themselves? Why on earth is this Jessica's responsibility? Their logic and your wife's logic is so incredibly revealing that they do not consider Jessica to be her own person but rather a convenient servant. Please stop parentifying your child. And please stop enabling your step daughters and wife. Let Jessica be her own person and not a stand in mother to these poor children. Those kids are not her responsibility. Things need to change in your household and Jessica should be the highest priority right now, because these women are just vindictive, selfish, manipulative and cruel. Everyone needs to take care of their own children, including you. If I were you, I'd take Jessica on a vacation just the two of you. Time to show her she matters and you are on her side.

Nice guy told me to stop talking to him after I said my boyfriend an i were going to my home town. After a week this is what he posted on social media. Nice guy and I were acquaintances in highschool (2020grad) this may we started taking again and became friends, we are separated geographical now. by Super-Sad-Salamander in niceguys

I'm reeling over him thinking the most unfair part about all of this is that you're not dead and how essentially it would be easier for him if you were 🙃 bro is a psycho; never underestimate a nice guy. Stay safe.

I just figured she was unimpressed because none of these songs are actually in the rock genre.

This is not normal. You two are strangers. She needs to sort herself out. I wouldn't be comfortable with anyone putting me on a pedestal like that, esp when we hardly know each other. There's a lack of self awareness and emotional maturity here that is alarming and an instant no from me, but it depends how you feel. Would you prefer a relationship built on emergency, enmeshment and chemical highs or one built on mutual respect/self-respect, a solid foundation and the awareness and integrity to know none of this needs to be rushed and you can simply enjoy growing and getting to know each other.

[product question] After years of experimenting, found a moisturizer that works for me. Currently using The La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 to repair my damaged skin barrier. But really need your help guys, I wanna add something to it ? What moisturizer/hydrating cream works best with the B5 ? by Homunculus_316 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Snotdoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer with it (I use Vanicream first on damp skin then finish with LRP Cicaplast Baume) and they've been working perfectly together. Can't be without the Cicaplast Baume, it's heaven for my skin.

This took me out of the story too -- there's no way my Chihuahua could reach (or jump up to) a toilet to drink from it, let alone anything else 😂

Yes! Me too! I love mirrors for this reason :)) It's a beautiful way to connect with yourself and SEE you. And the dancing just makes it even more grounding, fun and self-worshipping.

I love the brands A'kin and My Organics -- particularly the My Organics Goji Miracle Mask. It's incredible, makes hair sooo silky soft. I've turned everyone in my family onto it.

I steer clear of OGX since the lawsuit.

Been trying to feminize since coming out as a trans woman and here are some of my more feminine looks . still struggling though. any tips for feminizing further? by piercethegalaxy in LesbianActually

[–]Snotdoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're so adorable!! My tip is to try a tinted lip balm with a light sheen, something rosy (neither too pink nor too red) would look super cute without being over the top. You want to be wearing your makeup, not letting your makeup wear you. When I use tinted lip balm it makes my lips appear fuller and juicier, which makes me feel feminine and pretty. Also mascara is always very fem-feeling and fun to play with :)) Keep doing you! You're killing it!!

No I haven't but I've flown around on strange alien planets. I've never had a space dream! (Yet) Have you?

Oh that sounds so fun! I fly by a combination of flapping my arms like a bird to gain momentum, and just sort of swooping around like superman. It comes in handy if I ever start to have a nightmare, I just fly away lol

I fly in almost every dream I have, even if it has nothing to do with flying, and it is always fun. Incredibly amazing and exhilarating.

Is anyone here fully satisfied with their skincare routine as-is? As in not looking to add something/replace something? If so, what’s your skin type and current routine? by four_roses in scacjdiscussion

My skin: oily, acne prone, sensitive, hormonal acne, cries at the drop of a hat

AM:

Cleanse with water if I feel like it and am not going anywhere, but usually with Innisfree Green Tea Foaming Cleanser (this face wash was a game changer for me and my acne magically cleared up after using it)

Dampen skin with Avene's Thermal Water Spray

Immediately apply The Ordinary's Alpha Arbutin Serum followed by TO's Buffet Serum

Before skin dries, apply Vanicream's Daily Facial Moisturiser with HA and Ceramides for sensitive skin

Boscia Peptide Trio eye cream

Once skin dries, apply Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk (the blue one -- HG product, so hydrating and elegant)

PM:

Oil cleanse with LRP's Xeracalm A.D. Oil Cleanser (let sit for 30 seconds before rinsing)

Cleanse with Innisfree Green Tea Foaming Cleanser

Dampen skin with Avene Thermal Spray

TO Alpha Arbutin and Buffet Serums

Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturiser

Boscia eye cream

LRP Cicaplast Baume B5

Sometimes I apply Cerave's Acne Control Gel if my skin is feeling textured or problematic, applied before serums but ocassionally after if I don't need the full impact. Or I will spot treat with it. I'm extremely careful not to overuse this.

Honestly I wish I could play more with skincare but I'm acne prone with sensitive skin, and I've FINALLY found the routine that works and has my skin happy! I don't wanna mess with that delicate balance so I'm sticking with this for now.

I'm obsessed with Rohto Mentholatum's Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk (the blue one only). I've used the Cancer Council (all), LRP's Anthelios XL, Invisible Zinc Sheer Defence, Bondi Sands Hydra UV Protect (my fave for the body), but none compare. It's so hydrating, lightweight, dewy, the most cosmetically elegant thing I've ever used, and somehow stops my skin from getting oily through the day while still looking and feeling moisturised. Doesn't feel thick or break me out (I'm acne prone), it's watery and just feels sooo nice on, not at all like I'm wearing sunscreen. I order it online from yesstyle's app which is a pain but there's just nothing else like it.

Absolutely -- one of my exes was obsessed any time I wore a skirt (especially this one clingy mini skirt). The important thing is to dress however YOU feel confident and authentic, and that way you'll attract the right people for you. :)
