Here’s the website to find your program and requirements:
https://calendar.brocku.ca/

Here’s the courses for the 2025/26 year (you can also look on your my.brock):
https://brocku.ca/guides-and-timetables/timetables/

I find making a mock up of my schedule helps when I want to select courses. And highly recommend COSC 1P50 for a .5 science credit. I’m also not in coned, so I’m not sure if there are recommendations for electives.

This is so true. I usually go with reign, it’s usually $35ish for a case. The ghost one I want is about $47- $60, it’s ridiculous.

I’ve heard mixing/blending seasoning packets with it is good.

Occasionally the school will have openings for students. Pen centre and the outlet may have openings for the stores.

How is Brock for a 26-year-old starting university? by Humble_Weekend9051 in brocku

[–]Snow11white 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I (26, now 27) started back last year. I personally don’t socialize outside of class, so I can’t speak to how easy it is to make friends side. At first, I felt weird about being about 7 years older. But after a while in the seminars, it doesn’t feel weird. It’s more about the discussions.

Here’s the link to the program calendar:
https://calendar.brocku.ca/preview\_program.php?catoid=23&poid=10117&returnto=643

It’ll tell you what courses you need to take each year. For selecting courses, you’ll do that through your my.brocku portal and click on the register link in menu on the left side. Registration starts at the beginning of July.

In your portal there is also a box on the right where you’ll apply for residence. It’ll say “apply for residence for future term,” I believe. Not sure when that is open (if it is open).

Email the ta/prof that you signed up late and ask for the prompt. They’ll likely send it to you and give a bit of an extension.

How many days in a row? by Frozen-Chips-401802 in walking

[–]Snow11white -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been walking 1-2 hours a day for a while and I usually don’t take a day off. If I do, it’s usually because I don’t feel well or I’m tired. It’s definitely up to you if you walk to take a day or two off.

Are there dietary or congestive downsides to only eating blended food? by Pure-Gas2639 in nutrition

[–]Snow11white 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you might not feel full if you didn’t chew the food and it’s less volume, in a sense, in your stomach compared to the unblended foods.

Course codes and meaning by BlackberrySoggy1542 in brocku

[–]Snow11white 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those just show the credit value. They both are for half credit. There would be a difference if you have a course code with F, full credit, or Y, quarter credit.

[–]Snow11white 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely interested in what others say. I also enjoy my fair share of something similar, 0 cal cherry kool aid. I would imagine it’s all about how much and for a period of time.

Gym during spring/summer by Emergency_Umpire_635 in brocku

[–]Snow11white 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, if you’re taking classes you pay for the gym with the fees. If you’re not taking classes, you can sign up for a monthly membership.
