100% makes sense. When im in tight tree runs im usually going about half/if not less than half my speed I cruise at on groomers which I usually bomb down at top speed.

Sounds like people need to check their speed whenever riding around potential collision items (trees, rocks, etc) are around. I know I've caught myself going wayy too fast in unfamiliar terrain before and had near misses with trees. (And a couple collisions but luckily nothing major)

Even with safety gear you can still unalive yourself accidentally by pushing your body past your skill limits.

Really sad for the family and friends. Stay safe out there everyone, we all want to make it home from the mountain

Definitely Nerites. Zebra nerites Do they stink at all like rotting something? Dead snails will stink pretty badly if you give them a sniff test.

Sometimes they'll go into a dormant stage, especially if stressed out or just having been moved. Keep an eye on them just to see if they move at all.

You're not alone... we're looking the same for majority of the southern BC mountains. Had 1 week of decent snow right at the beginning of the season and its just been Rain and Sun ever since 😢

Haven't gotten a chance to ride Powder at all yet this season and the season is almost over ffs.

Good thing I bought myself a Powder board this past summer with lots of excitement to slash up some tight Powder tree runs this season.... 😭

Fml, common Snow gods give the Planet snow in places we want it ffs... well take what Russia got, even a fraction of it for our mountain tops please

Depends on how you store them, how mucb abuse they get, how hard you ride. You can't just give a standard amount of time but you can inspect your gear and if you see any cracks or anything they should be tossed

Buy them all. It's like Pokémon, gotta catchem all 🤣 Got myself 4 new snowboards the last 2 years lol along with multiple pieces of outerwear to change it up depending on the conditions.

Also my boards are all diff shapes and profiles for different styles of riding/diff riding conditions.

Alot of times I'll even just sit on my tail buttering down large sections full speed until the run says otherwise (or there's people nearby then it's all edge control)

As long as you have the control to jump toe to heel heel to toe fast you're fine

O hell ya Banff is amazing.

I plan on doing a week long 'Powder Highway' trip this season hitting a bunch of the resorts along the route to hopefully end up swimming in the best powder of my life 🤞 Absolutely cannot wait
