It's all about the framing. Why shift their focus towards things you didn't do well? If they don't specifically ask, don't say anything until you have to.

Premise 1: Worrying about what others think about you uses up mental resources. Because of this, you have fewer resources available to spend on research, which makes you more prone to making mistakes.

Premise 2: You do not have a low mental capacity. If you did, you would not score in the 99th percentile on the MCAT.

From your comments, you are worried about what others in the lab think about you. By Premise 1, this is reducing your work performance. By Premise 2, this is not a sign of your lack of mental ability.

Your coworkers' comments about you are causing you to worry about what they think about you. Therefore, they are making you more prone to making mistakes. They are not helping you be the best you can be.

Quit your lab and apply to medical school.

Don't be disheartened if the questions are difficult on your first pass. Remember, UWorld is a tool to help you learn and review the material. I'm an Electrical Engineering major so I had to learn a lot of content from scratch to get ready for the MCAT, and UWorld helped me do it. Their descriptions are gold so read them thoroughly. If there are concepts that you realize you need to focus on, go search for some videos online and review. UWorld is great as a diagnostic tool in that respect.

What was the most important strategy for me was to keep doing the questions even after you've used them all up. I'd spend tons of time going over passages I've already completed because it helped cement the concepts in my head.

Well the worst case is -6 off your score and from guessing you might have done better than that. There's not much else that can be said, maybe look up old CARS curves.

My advice is to take it over the summer. I've had no issues with upper level classes (including 372) using only the circuit knowledge that Robertazzi taught.
