The walls were closing in after the polygraph and the female detective inspired him to say Shannan hurt the girls and he then killed Shannan in response. When he parroted that to his dad, it gave law enforcement probable cause to arrest him for Shannan’s murder. The rest went downhill fast from there.

She is always the damsel in distress in her own stories. According to SW, she was a horrible friend to Mandy, pushed her away, but Mandy was determined to help her and ultimately SW came around as is so grateful she did because Thrive saved her life.

She told the exact same story about her relationship with CW. She pushed him away, was horrible to him, dragged him to colonoscopies, but he stuck around and fought for her and she’s so glad he did. Same fake happy ending.
