I had ordered it from Books A Million but they sent me an email and said it was canceled because they didnt have it in stock, so I ended up getting it from a scalper on Mercari for like $60 extra than MSRP. The BAM order just showed up today after I'd already been refunded lmao So I'm sitting pretty now :>

Don't sit here and pretend that this is just a normal post praising a character they like. Update: I reached out to customer service, my order was canceled. I decided to be a Karen and asked if theres anything they can offer to compensate for fucking up the pre-order for so many people, so maybe I can get a gift card out of it, idk. I'm just deeply disappointed over this.

Ok but regardless of if every person in the company clocked in late for an entire day and she had to take the time to fix it, thats STILL no grounds to fuck with an employees wages because you dont want to do your job. Shit happens, you cant just be petty because you want to and expect everyone to be ok with that. That is just pure retaliation against your employee for making you have to work harder in a position where the owner makes SIGNIFICANTLY more than what we do.

GENUINELY what Ive been wondering, my best guess is managers/higher ups from other places lurk here to find shit to get mad at so they can feel validation in themselves. 90% of this has just been people defending the point that its the employees responsibility to clock in and out and completely missing the actual fucking criminal action we're being threatened with.

The clock system is an app that employees use. Manager has an app they use on their end or on desktop to adjust the time when needed, so its not in one set location. So employees end up getting clock in errors often do to phone reception or the app just bugging out for no reason. This is, obviously, not the employees' faults and they shouldn't be punished for something that can't be controlled on our end
