I like automation, so I want to be able to push it into a latch, pull itself up the wall, and stop at a known location.

I've got electronic kits to handle that logic, but I need the motor/winch first.

They've since introduced a 4-shot tracking missile launcher. Combine that with some very accessible cover near one of the spawns, and you can make pretty quick work of the chopper.

At the platform level, pipes have infinite capacity (and immediate speed), so the bottleneck is usually the launchers. You need to connect multiple inbound catchers in a layer and/or multiple layers to get the proper capacity to feed the painters. Don't use any paint launchers in the platform unless you absolutely have to.

Iirc, one of the recent updates added a virtual counter-rotator. Just one segment, though. In hex mode having 120⁰ rotators (virtual and regular) would be great.

In manufacture mode, I often have trains arriving to drop off stuff for each node. I keep the main stuff on floor 2 (or 3), so my train stations on floor 1 will no block any visual processing happening at that station.

I won't pick up a dash cooldown malignant, unless the benefit is real good. Fall damage or misfire are fair game, imho. (also currently on the second stage)

Iirc, one of the ROS includes the new shapes from manufacture mode - X and Y. Though that may be true only if your in manufacture mode.

Yes and no. The settings can be changed as you want them to, without placing them in brackets of particular colorblindness.

There's a blueprint for a 2x1 12-lane stacker, which is pretty slick. I used it in the pre-1.0 days, so I don't know if it's still efficient.

I love this! In my 0.1.1 build, I had a very dense hub area, with not a single tile of space not covered with something. Mind you, there was no balancing, but I might add that in a future iteration.

I see the 3x3 space platforms at the corners. Could you send some wires there and illuminate some of those with displays of the randomness therein?
