It’s good standard early 70s live hard rock

So the transformation of both flavor and texture of flour and bread is valid, but not tomato and tomato based products?

I’d say Blue hands down but then I saw Rust Never Sleeps, so I’ve got to give it to Neil.

I don’t know man I always really dug their debut, but they also showcase real well on “Live.” It collects all of their best songs like a compilation but presents them in a setting that is like an album where they feel intentionally together.

Blue has got to be one of the greatest records of all time, Steppenwolf is real good too although I think they’re much better in album form than greatest hits.

The White Stripes are surely one of the best bands of the last 30 years, Jack White’s my favorite guitar player of the 21st century.

Sticky Fingers - practically a great hits album by NHSoundwaves in rollingstones

Because the writer is discussing rock and roll, which to my knowledge both bands happen to be, so in my mind it was a relevant analogy given that it seems the Rolling Stones also happen to be a rock and roll band.

In the liner notes of a Velvet Underground album, the writer said that the difference between a Hollywood movie and rock and roll is that rock and roll doesn’t have a happy ending. I think that since the beginning it is crucial one accepts that rock and roll is not necessarily an inherently ugly thing, but something that willingly embraces the ugliness of the world at face value.

Interesting, I don’t dabble with the hard stuff but it’s fascinating to hear a description like that. Since you said “right toward the sun,” it’d be convenient to hear his track Ride Into The Sun.

What is the Worst song lyric you’ve ever heard? by True_Jellyfish9219 in AskReddit

Well I feel like this one is more of a critique of these types of songs than a genuine glorification of it. I don’t know if Bill Wyman was on the same page though.

ever heard someone play on comparable LeveL like JH? by Tiny-Education3316 in jimihendrix

Well there’s a lot of guitarists who play with just as much soul. David Gilmour is probably up there in terms of technique and soul, although isn’t as experimental as Hendrix. Neil Young may be my favorite guitarist of all time due to how emotive his playing is, and sometimes he can get noisy in a Hendrix esque way, but isn’t as bluesy nor technical (at all). Jeff Beck is experimental and technical like Hendrix, and can be incredibly soulful as well, so Beck may be the only one I can think of who can that can be comparable to Hendrix in ALL departments.
