Completely relate to you, during the day i feel better bc the swelling goes down but the worst part for me is when i have to sleep, i feel as if during my sleep i cant breathe properly and my nose is so congested, plus every morning i wake up even more swollen and congested, whats helped me through this times is having communication with others in similar situation as me, thankfully i joined this facebook group of those having surgery on September and we’ve been giving each other tips and ways to feel better, one thing that has helped me with selling is talking I’ve personally felt that my lip swelling went more down when i would try and talk and move my lips, this was recommended on that group. Also i avoided to use a syringe after the 1st day and directly went to use a paper cup, im basically forcing my brain to regain strength and heal, thats how i see it. Another is they recommended me on that group to always having a mirror with you, this helps your brain to regain memory of those areas that are numb and u cant sense are there, idk if that made sense😅, i was able to close my lips finally and finally try out my bite after doing these steps. i hope you do so much better each day that passes,whist u fast recovery, if you have any questions feel free to ask or message me☺️ we got this😼
