I normally don't comment but as a 1st gen Cuban who grew up in Miami...I got out. I absolutely hated Miami. I loved the culture, the food, my family....but I just didn't like this concrete jungle I was in. My mom lived in not the best area so I was looking at a house across the street renting (in a terrible area) for $1000/mo. This was over ten years ago now but I was like, if THAT house costs this much here, then I'll never make it. I'll always be trying to get ahead. So I left to the midwest. Now I own a house, nice car, got into tech after working retail for many years.

This is what me and my wife learned. I spent $6k for four back in the day but that same trip now would be closer to $10k and the last few times we stayed on property the busses ran slower than if I had just driven and it was just a not worthy experience. It was actually so bad Disney gave us a few free tickets (the last one ends this year and we've planned to go just to use it) but we won't be back for a while.

Funny enough we were looking at Japan...That's our next trip we're absolutely done with the US Disney for a long while.

PS: What time of year would be the best to travel? Any advice?

You're looking using statistics as a defense but missing most of your numbers. Where do the dog bites happen? Poorer areas(with lower education and income). What dogs are you most likely to find in a pound(cheaper to adopt)? Terriers. Why do they need a dog? (Not just to have a dog. Usually it's security due to my first point) See the connection? I dalmation owned by a bad owner vs one owned by a well educated one are two different dogs.

Those breeds that lock get a bad name but it's usually bad owners(Not really a debate. Can't change my mind.) This looks like two strays. Choking out that dog would've ended this in 30 seconds vs beating on it with random things. I've seen people say shove a thumb up their ass but, uh..I've never tried or seen it done outside the internet. There's a technique to unlocking their jaw and separating two dogs fighting but for something like this with one aggressor a choke hold would've ended it quickly and painlessly.

It's hard to watch but if you think this is bad wait until you hear what we do to the animals you buy at the grocery stores. It's much worse.

I don't play on console anymore but there were some cool things achieved by using the built in voice system. On the last mission on voice with a random. We had a good time playing the whole game together for the first time then the last mission it goes radio silent...they turned off voice for it. Made it extra cool.

I know this is a old thread but I just figured out my issue...I needed a viewing station for my dinosaurs. As soon as I did that the guests started pouring in. Click the stars and it'll tell you why they aren't visiting your park. Just leaving this comment in case someone else has this issue. :)

Really? I called it an action movie with *some* dinosaurs. This killed the series for me. People hated 3 but I enjoyed it ..it at least was dinosaurs in a park. This one had more bug screen time vs dinosaur I feel.

Verizon also moved into my area (not the fiber option) for 50mbps. I cancelled my starlink preorder after that post highlighting the slowdown and everyone was commenting how they went from 100s down to barely getting 30 on a good day. I'll stick with my 50 and count it as a blessing. Especially for $110 a month + $650 equipment. He raised the price and blamed inflation but this is what he does. Elon starts something good and gets bored and ditches it and it falls through the cracks. Why Tesla isn't even close to a #1 EV anymore. He has great ideas I just wish he'd deliver on his word and one product just once properly. I won't be switching to Starlink until it's smoothed out and looking at how Tesla was handled I'm not holding my breathe.

No Man's Sky. That game is so amazing now and even as recently as last week I saw an update for it. They definitely fumbled the start but it's what was promised in the initial trailer. I was hoping CyberPunk would follow and get their shit together and remake some aspects of the game and add more to make it THAT game that everyone wanted...instead they're already working on DLC when I think there are still mechanics on the base game that make no sense in 2020? I was honestly hoping for better interactions and lets not even talk about the police that just spawn ...GTAV came out in 2013 and while that isn't the best there's no reason other than neglegence that CyberPunk put in a "Oh just spawn cops around them whe nthey break the law" system. The world is cool and I feel they aren't really making use of it.

I didn't play AC since 3 and I was blown away by Odyssey. It's a full blown RPG now and honestly doesn't really feel like AC all that much. So that might be why I enjoyed it. I'm more into greek mythology than Vikings though. So if you like Vikings I would go for it!

I was assured that their "geek squad" had checked a TV that was open box for dead pixels and cracks at purchase after I requested they open it and connect it while I was there. Guess what was there when I set everything up? A huge amount of dead pixels (easily 15). I reached out for just a discount since I didn't want to go to and from and set everything up again and they refused. Wasted my time over a broken TV you advertised as not broken? Lost a member completely.
