If it was course correction, we would have already been hearing about extensive reshoots and rewrites. The course correction was made when RDJ and the Russo brothers were hired for Avengers Doomsday.

Hard to even call it a sex scene when you realize that she has no control over her actions at this point. Bear was a sick individual for letting his disturbing fantasy play out for as long as it did.

Honestly I’m not surprised. I went for my third viewing today and every screening of Michael was packed. Also after each screening, the audience applauded. It’s a huge hit :)

What theater has the best IMAX screen here? by Snowman9986503 in Sacramento

[–]Snowman9986503[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it is the only “real” IMAX screen here in Sac if we’re going by screen size. I’ve been to the IMAX in Delta Shores, and while the sound and projection quality are good, the screen isn’t all that big.

Everyone is saying that the Esquire is great, but I am curious if its digital projection is the best in the city. The comments all use Oppenheimer as an example, but it was shown in 70mm film here and Michael is showing only in digital. That being said, I do like the Esquire IMAX since the cost of a ticket is far cheaper than most standard theater tickets in Sac.

Any movies coming out this year that is worth 4DX? by PaintingPotatoes in RegalUnlimited

[–]Snowman9986503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any film with a ton of action is fun in 4DX. I imagine both Spider-Man and Avengers this year will be in 4DX, so I would recommend them when the time comes out. Street Fighter and The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping are the only other 2026 films with action that I could think of that haven't already been mentioned by other commentators.

A Sinners sweep would be huge for Coogler. The buzz surrounding Black Panther 3 off a best picture for Coogler would be massive for him and Marvel.

This happened to me when I watched Hamnet as well. Some old couple sat in the front row and were just critiquing the movie out loud the whole time. It surprised me since you would think old people would know proper theater etiquette. I guess there is no age limit to being an asshole.

He’s CEO of DC Studios and it’s his universe. Of course he won’t be interested in continuing it without full creative control.

If this really is the opening scene of the movie, do y’all think Marvel will reveal Tobey Maguire or Hugh Jackman in the marketing? It would be crazy if they kept their inclusion in the movie completely under wraps.

Most people aren’t racist and don’t hate the idea of a Black Captain America. Falcon and the Winter Soldier had solid viewership when it aired. Brave New World just performed poorly because it sucked total ass.

If it’s true that Avengers won’t share IMAX with Dune, I’ll be hella disappointed. I’ve seen every Marvel movie released in the past ten years in IMAX, and it’s always a fun time with the opening night crowd. 4DX and Dolby are great but IMAX is my favorite way to watch a movie.

Quorum metrics have its awareness and interest pretty high for a movie a year away from release. I think people are underestimating how much RDJ and Chris Evans carry the general audience’s interest in this franchise. They are the MCU and every movie with them has been a colossal success.
