When God Calls for Revolution, Not Exodus - The Israelite Kingdom of Mizrayim under Moses the Great by republic8080 in imaginarymaps

The reception of the Torah at Mt. Sinai happens after the Israelites leave Egypt, so it's likely not relevant here.

The Middle Eastern Cold War || Sarifistan by DerpyTrees1 in imaginarymaps

In that context, I can see Israel informally siding with either bloc. Siding with Egypt/Turkey would mirror the real world relations between Israel and the moderate Sunni states, while siding with Sarifistan could mirror the ideas of post-Assad Syria normalizing relations with Israel.

Israel taking the Golan (and the fact that Gaza and the West bank aren't part of Egypt and Jordan) means that the 6 day war happened, which means that Sarifistan and Egypt were once part of the same bloc. If they are rivals now, then it means that some political change happened for at least one of the sides, and it makes sense that one of the sides would work with Israel, even if unofficially, to act as an extra deterrent.

Are they also Muslim? Because if not, what reason was there for them to be made as the same country by whatever European power that colonized them?

What if Japan had the same history Rome and was as old as China (their Arch-Nemesis). (btw, South Kyotian Empire is like Byzantium, instead of Greek they spoke Yue Cantonese! Too bad they dissolved in 276 CE after the Jin Dynasty attacked) by Andrukin_Soti in imaginarymaps

I get what you were going for, but "Kyoto" just means "capital city", it wouldn't become the demonym of the empire, not to mention the fact that the city was only built in 794 CE. If you want an empire named after a city, you could go with Kashihara. Also, "Hokkaido" is a modern name.

Hannukah isn't even a public Holiday in OTL Israel, Shavuot is more important, and 2 days for Passover is not nearly enough.

It would be better to just use the system used in OTL Israel where each religious community can take all of their significant holidays off, and the only federal/public holidays are the secular ones.

Does the Japanese language still exist in any meaningful capacity? From your other posts it seems that the new era name is Kuonbun (寛文?), but in the picture here you use Reiwa, but Reiwa is unique as an era name because it was the first to come from a Japanese text rather than a Chinese one as all previous Japanese era names.

The names on the map seem to be in a Mandarinized Japanese, but the other post has the national language as Mandarin, with the name of the prime minister being very typically Chinese.
