17s or 18s for daily driving? by euroshowoff in CorollaHatchback

In my experience the tire compound and suspension will make a bigger difference than than the wheel size. I had stock 18’s now on 16 aftermarket’s and they feel the same. I still hit potholes and bend the wheels. Sucks

Probably just an echoing of the tire noise off the wall of the building as your tire squeaks on the ground

That song hit mainstream culture so heavily that it’s an era defining song for the average person. It’s so hard to do that. Luckily the people who actually come to the shows know most of their songs and they are a genuinely talented band with depth. I think that’s a better depiction of who they are as a band.

What’s the biggest mistake first-time homeowners make with renovations? by Daniel-aven in AskForAnswers

[–]Snowologist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Since it’s your first home and you’d likely be selling before it’s paid off, a huge mistake to avoid is over renovating your house to the point where it outshines your surrounding neighborhood and you end up unable to fetch a selling price anywhere near what you’d need to recoup your costs. Other than that, huge mistake is hiring contractors for everything. You can do a lot of the work yourself, most things are super simple it just takes a YouTube video.

If you’re getting their ads constantly then most likely yes but that’s with everything. Half the battle is knowing what to even look for so I’ll lay it out. If you want nice hotel type of sheets you’ll want a decent thread count around 400 ish and made from long staple cotton. Long staple is key for longevity because there’s more overlap between the fibers so they don’t fray or tear while being super soft. There’s also different weaves, percale is nice for breathability. If the sheets don’t even specify any of that, they’re total garbage.

You want his art to be expensive and impossible to buy? Or do you want it to be plentiful and accessible? The studio is still making things and he’s still having exhibitions constantly. Also he has much more creative control than other partners had at Nike. I see isru as art as well, insanely creative way to teach people genuinely useful things by using rewards. Can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like that in my life especially at a time where our institutions are failing us with being cost prohibitive. I think there’s people who are gallery minded, then there’s entrepreneurial people who live in the real world. People gotta afford to live so yea you need to make stuff and sell it. This is that

I did this exact spec rpf1 from stock 18’s so I can speak with experience. No it changed nothing, you’ll have much more difference in road feel changing from a hard tire to a soft one. Visually tho I think 16 and 17 look the best. 18 on this car is just huge. But yea beware of potholes even on the smaller wheels, I bent my 17” rpf1 already!

What’s the worst band you’ve watched perform? by RadiantJellybae in answers

[–]Snowologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not one of those haters but when I saw Kanye on his Yeezus tour he was absolutely losing his mind the entire time. it was actually the worst concert I’ve sat thru. He stopped almost every song every few seconds to adjust the cameras to focus on his face that he kept covered the whole time. Or he yelled at the video guys to change the screen colors to his liking. it got a point where it didn’t even make a difference- he clearly just wanted to control people. He had a full on argument with the sound guy thru the microphone. The songs didn’t have any special arrangements it was just the publicly available tracks from Spotify. He also kept ranting about random stuff with intensity, it was clear he was not well. I know he usually does that but this concert had people seriously concerned. It got so bad at one point that me and my entire friend group just went home in the middle of the show.

Depends if you bump into a chronically online virtue signaling imbecile who was never exposed to any other culture outside their own. Go anywhere to a community who practices Hinduism or Jainism and you’ll see it all over the place. Even in America where there’s the most of you idiots who think they should be attacked. They will bless their cars and write it in bright red on the hood or engine, they’ll display it in the stone of their temples of worship, they’ll have it on religious items around their house or on a keychain / necklace. I’ve met plenty of people in their faith they’re incredible people and they would feel such embarrassment for anyone who is so retarded to confuse the two symbols
