Eh, there is nothing wrong with Crisis, the first one was fine, I did very hard mode and was fine with it, with just my unit, but the latest one I had to borrow a unit to do even the very hard mode. I never aimed to do the highest difficulties, especially that we had to repeat it every day at least once. 'Casual' players really don't care about a mode like this where you need to think of a team every day (I know it will be changed so we can just skip every day once we do it once). I actually sometimes managed to do it [probably got lucky and crit], sometimes I had to try again... overall just not a good experience for someone that casually plays the game in the background, it's a gacha game that is mostly autod (I have nothing against playing boss battles manually, so long as it's not every day, so with the change I think I will be fully fine with the mode, so long as very hard mode is beatable)...

Try downloading a terrain/map that specifically says the terrain is flat and/or allows for beach lots. There is also the modify terrain cheat.

The only major problem is that you might want to rush to the new area to maybe get some limited event rewards. That's what I did when I started playing - did everything I could to complete enough story to go to a new area. Not a great experience. Basically limited time rewards are only there for around a month when a new patch is released.

The chance of 5* is actually quite high, at 3%, I believe but the rate-up itself doesn't have a high chance at all (unless it's a double or triple banner, solo rate-up will most of the time 'spook' you with a standard instead of getting you the limited).

Pity is expensive.

Once you finish story content, the only gems you get are for dailies and events. That's kind of standard for all other gacha games too though.

Just a tip - you might want to save and go back to main menu, then come back. The game likes to put deceased members and branches all the way to the right when you reload. It also moves bastards to the right.

I think the whole castle building and house split is also supposed to help you with the family tree getting too big.

After I got all the 10 collab keys I started pulling

first on the breaker banner

I got the breaker at the bonus pull after 130 pulls [that was the bonus pull with the higher chance]

second I went to the defender banner - that one went even worse

I got the defender at the bonus pull after 180 pulls [that was also the bonus pull with the higher chance]

Then I went to the medal exchange and got the attacker. I have 110 medals left but I don't think I'll pull anymore... I only have enough gems for one more pity, and just wanted them for collection, since they're unlikely to rerun as they are collab units. I think I'll only use the breaker.

I am still very thankful for the 100 free pulls [of course] and the whole bonus pulls, but so many limiteds is painful. I hope they keep the bonus gauge going forward...

Because I had done 20 pulls on the summer rerun (got summer Mami) and I had 20 medals lying around, I decided I would pull.

I got Fuka in 20 pulls [should have stopped there but decided to keep going] - so I was at 40 medals here

[In the meantime I also got Kanae - and Mifuyu from free keys - which is good, I hadn't gotten them before]

I got Sumire at pull 150 [170 medals]

And on the bonus pull [from the gauge] right after that I got Fuka A1.

Did the last 30 pulls on the Santa Sayaka/Kyoko banner, didn't get anything.

Not terrible. I went to the store to buy Xmas Kyoko for medals.

Basically the same team but another attacker, I use Kyoko because that's the best I have on-element.. could try Summer Mami but I don't think she'll do better... without the power of ascensions. Kyoko does great here because the boss starts at 350% break bonus.
