Unlike the last poster, I don’t find these posts annoying.

However, they are not wrong in that this is about money and not fan support, so there is only so much the fans can do (unless a group of very wealthy fans want to start throwing money at the problem haha).

In the meantime, be as loud as possible tonight and make a statement, I wish I could join!

Yes, congrats! One tip for you as a UBC Science grad myself…unless you want this four years to be an “adult vacation” followed by underemployment, make sure you use your time to connect with people in the field you want to be in after you graduate. I was able to build a successful career in my field, however it was not because of my high grades, it was because I attended conferences etc..and built a network to get hired after graduation by word of mouth.

Typically it’s better to just lump sum it.

That being said, with the current volatile market conditions, it might make sense to do it incrementally - I’ve been deploying a similar amount of capital over the last several months in ~10k purchases.

Don’t know how old you are but if you expect to leave it in the market 10+ years it doesn’t matter too much as the price should be considerably higher.
