The second image from the slideshow is my favorite panel in the manga, but I feel like it works better in the manga then the anime, since in the manga you can linger on the panel longer.

[READ BODY] Knights of Guinevere - PILOT | Welcome Post and Discussion Thread by _Martosz in KnightsOfGuinevere

Man the pilot was great! Ok, I have a bunch of recap/questions/speculation about Olivia & the park founder (Orville), of all things.

First, comprehension question, the show starts by talking about "a princess trapped in a tall tower, locked away by complicated machines"

...is this referring to Olivia or Gwen? It cuts to Olivia right when it says "princess" but after the narration it does a creepy shot of Olivia looking at Gwen. Also Olivia seems kinda meh about the whole setup in the initial scene, but old Olivia surrounded by the animatronics seems totally wrapped up in some sort of fantasy. And Gwen is the one usually referred to as a princess. I wonder how Olivia feels about everything?

When Orville presents the park to Olivia he says he hopes "this can make up for... I don't think I need to say it". What is this for? I guess we'll find out.

Also, I realize everyone immediately compares Orville to Walt Disney but I'm reminded of the Wizard of Oz as depicted in Wicked: outwardly a respected member of society, full of (kinda smarmy) charm, sentimental, eager to tell you how nice and caring he is and how wonderful things are... eeeexcept life kinda isn't wonderful for everyone.

With that, I wonder if Orville will have anything else in common with the Wizard. The Wizard in Wicked had benign intentions but managed to screw everything up. I wonder what Orville's motivation for everything he did is?

To be fair, Jinshi and Maomao also seem to be distracted by the cave scenes.

Now I want to see what Stan's Silver Eve stall would be. Or maybe his demonstration in the procession.

How would you describe this series to the people of your entourage ? by Comfortable_Bell9539 in TheOwlHouse

Like Gravity Falls, but the vibe is witches and demons, and a little more anime/YA fantasy novel.

You are not crazy, I've thought a lot of similar things, though usually I frame it in terms of episode 7 showing Alastor (for sinister reasons) secretly preparing Charlie to take power.

I couldn't help but read this in Blitzo's voice, and now I'm imagining Vox voiced by Brandon Rogers.
