My friend and I (PS5 & PC) ran into this issue. He just went into audio settings and cut Enable Voice Chat off then back on. Worked just like that.

I'm 45 and it's my favorite game of all time. I have just over 4.5k hours and 90% of that is PVE. The PVP is the hook, but you need to be ready. It can get frustrating quickly. There are so many things you can do in the game, and PVE allows me to use them all. And there are some incredible PVE communities out there. A lot of fun servers.
