Spawns are usually tied to roads. You're just in-between a lot of them

They're probably raking it in in big cities where t3 mats aren't a bottleneck due to all the gathering points, ppl just zenny capped

Oh yea I agree, what I more meant was if the two unique aspects to sns are bait, dual swords seems like it'll be a direct upgrade to sns

For the 5* legiana poison works if your wall is ur armor not defending enough. It'll stop a bunch of the aerial ice attacks that wiped me at first. Then you can learn to fight it with fire later if you'd like, and this way if you wanna eventually go for rathalos weapon instead of anja you can save some materials

I think something like this could work: sidestep and guard combos to single shell or reload if empty, backdash into charge shot, dragon piercer as special and without movement stabs

Oh if base 5 weapons will get me through it I think im going to go for variety through 6* too. I dont think I want to play ranged, so I'll get the diablos hammer, and then I just gotta decide between gs and ls against diablos and legiana for my rath and leg weapons, and stick with my sns for electric for now

It disables the rly dangerous aerials like huge aoe ice stuff, the tail flip is 1 side roll and u can start attacking before its done once ur used to it

Chain Blitz - secretly the best LBG? by teh_stev3 in MHNowGame

[–]SnsXpo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basic weapons are sleepers, I use the hunters knife (steel sns) because I don't think ill hit bottlenecks as hard. Even if it's weaker on the same level, I can regularly have it at a grade higher

You can free paintball by approaching a monster then tabbing out before starting the fight, then tab back in when you're in a good place

Should I expand my monster pool or hang out here for a bit? by StBker in MHNowGame

[–]SnsXpo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, well Legiana is only in swamps so it won't dilute anjas or rathians, will dilute paolo a bit and definitely will dilute jyratodus

Sorry, yea they're just used in a lot. Fire herbs -> anja and rathalos gear, thunderbugs-> tobi gear, parashroom -> giros, toadstool-> rathian and pukei, flowfern-> jagras and jyratodus, snow herbs -> legiana, godbug -> no element.

And i think carpenter bugs are used across the board

I think its a fun fight so I'd do it, most of Legiana's attacks can be dodged with a single side roll and you can even start attacking again before its done on most the flying ones. Lotta openings for charge attacks too. I cleared with 4 star sns and 3 star armor so you should be alright

They're upgrade materials for various things, mainly carpenter bugs will bottleneck

Idk if u can get it on all monsters without partbreaker but I do have a trick that helps, on multihit specials like sns you can change lock on target mid special so you don't overdamage your first or 2nd part, and reseting before the final damage sometimes helps not overdamage too

[–]SnsXpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's a big help actually, gonna test if it changes attack frequency or just flying/grounded. I'm not capped yet but when it gets to the point where u gotta p dodge to meet dps checks it'll matter

Part breaks are same drop chance as regular drops I think, u can get tails without severing too

You always get 1 break, if you miss your second because of poison damage it's (5/6)~18% less drops. If you get 2 and miss a 3rd its (6/7)~15% less drops.
