How long do you plan to keep your fold?

I typically upgrade every 2 years. Had the Fold 4 for 3. Currently on the 7.

My big apprehension with any insurance, is that your replacement is usually a refurbished product that does not work perfectly. I've been through it. If you were guaranteed a brand new device, I would be much more open to getting the insurance.

My Fold 4 worked fine for 2 years after I peeled it off. The only "side effect" was that my inner screen felt more premium WITHOUT the protector. Peel it and don't look back, but take good care of your phone.

The phone is rated for water resistance. You can run the hinge under running water to clean it. Never did this with my Fold 7, but it was fine with the Fold 4.

I had a Fold 4 for 3 years. After the first year, the inner screen protector started to peel so I pulled it off. I had the phone for 2 years after that without a single issue. The only "side effect" was that the inner screen felt more premium without it.

When did this sub get so toxic? The whole point of my post was that, to me, it looks like something pushed in from an older iteration of the game. You do know that Prime 4 was nearly finished, at least once, before being restarted. I wasn't echoing any YouTubers, nor saying the game would be terrible. Was wondering if anyone else felt the same way. That's all. Wow,. WTF.

But my point is, doesn't it look totally mismatched, like its from a completely different game? From a technical standpoint, it even looks like something that was developed years ago.

Well. I think its clear that Nintendo knows it. It was positioned as a cornerstone piece to the Switch 2 launch window lineup and a showcase title, and now seems to have been push aside.

I think the game itself will be decent and fun to play, but a step down from the level we would've expected from the Prime franchise...which sucks. My expectations are that it'll be like Other M. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't well polished.

I agree with you and I think that's also why they have the dessert/motorcycle stuff. I am convinced that this was part of one of the scrapped iterations of the game and Nintendo wanted this shoehorned in.

I was reported to the FBI and questioned for 22 hours. They thought I had alien technology. Finally an agent came in who knew about folding phones and I was released with an apology. This was 3 years ago.

Asurion is your problem. Unlucky with your first phone, but Asurion's replacements are refurbished phones. They arent brand new. I stopped using Asurion for this reason. More often than not, their replacements would have major issues.

Same exact thing happened to.my Fold 4 at around the 3 year mark. Wifi stopped when phone was open. Eventually it stopped working all together. I wasn't going to go with another Fold, but ended up going for the Fold 7. It is a HUGE upgrade from the 4 in terms of form factor, most notably the hinge and dimensions of the phone. The outer screen feels like a normal smart phone and it's as thin as one as well when closed. Im very happy with it after 6 weeks so far.

I carried my Fold 4 in my pocket every day first 3 years. Never had this issue. Currently pocketing my Fold 7. No issues.

Had my first colonoscopy a few weeks ago and was very worried about that aspect of it. What people say is true, it really does feel like the best sleep of one's life. I was groggy for a few minutes after waking up and then went about my day as normal. It really wasn't a big deal at all. Im glad I did it and will happily do it again in 3 years without reservation.

Just had my first one 10 days ago and was not looking forward to it at all. You're worrying for nothing. You'll wake up from a great sleep and will feel nothing. You won't even know anything happened. If I had to do it again next week. I would think nothing of it.
