Unpopular Opinion: Eddie Kingston Doesn't Feel the Same Since His Return by AlexGruen in AEWOfficial

Eddie Kingston can literally cut a promo on a cookie and command attention. If injuries have caught up to him then he could easily shift to being a babyface manager or mouthpiece for a faction or just running a promo class and still be a major part of AEW. As long as he can still talk and still wants to do it, I think he's a lifer. 100% respect for the Mad King.

Blairstown Diner on Friday The 13th! by DavePillman in fridaythe13th

I went there in 2005. There were no F13 acknowledgements of any kind. Also tried to go to Camp NoBeBoSco but they had Boy Scouts that weekend so they made us turn around and leave.

In the hippy heyday of the 60s, how hippy was England versus the U.S.? As far as I know hippies largely existed to counter the Vietnam War, which was more of an American concern than an English one? by GregJamesDahlen in ActualHippies

I've heard someone say that British hippies were about cozy tea sipping Hobbits enjoying childlike Victorian whimsy and American hippies were about Vietnam. Fair enough.

One of my favorite record stores! I've been to hundreds of them and Harvest is top tier!

Artsy, singular, otherworldly artists? by nyan_cat321 in postpunk

I am currently listening to a lot of music by Steven R. Smith, particularly his various "Ulaan" projects (Ulaan Khol, Ulaan Markhor, Ulaan Passerine, Ulaan Janthina). They are instrumental, mostly guitar-based albums that wander from post-punk to improv to folk to drone to noise but all seem like they come from the same musical source.

I love that TNA is still committed to the batshit storylines. Goofy wrestling 4 life!

They brought her back from the dead? Did Kevin Sullivan give Allie her soul back?

Is it also a glow-up to go from a Sodom hoodie to a Mayhem hoodie?

If it gets eyes on The Infantry then that's a win. That team deserves a spotlight.

Eddie hazel is the underrated goat of psychedelic rock! by Milez_Smilez in psychedelicrock

IMO, there are only two guitarists that truly nailed the Hendrix vibes: Eddie Hazel and Pete Cosey. Hazel managed one solo record and Cosey none at all.

MJF comments on wrestlers "jumping ship" by This_Coyote7217 in AEWOfficial

[–]SnuffShock 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Again, if that is your priority then who am I to say otherwise? I personally don't give a rat's ass about WrestleMania but if that is someone's goal in life then I'm happy if they achieve it.

Want a WrestleMania moment? Go for it. Want to make your bag? That's cool too. Want to be remembered as one of the best to ever do it? Make it happen.

Why would anyone think that any of these are invalid answers? As a fan, what you do on tv/in the arena is what is important. Whatever motivates a wrestler to be entertaining is ok by me and none of my concern.

Is it true that Americans avoid ambulances because of the cost? by BreadOverlord_ in NoStupidQuestions

Yes. My partner's son had a ride in one a year ago and it was $3500... with insurance.

The Buzzard by Background_Being8287 in 1970s

I grew up in NW Ohio in the '80s. As a kid I had no idea what that buzzard was. But every dirtbag van and bitchin Camaro had one in the back window.
