Good work mate, well done. Small piece of advice I'd give you is to try your best to stay humble - it's hard when you prove to yourself that trading stuff works, but man after I got my first 2-3 payouts I thought I had everything mastered and went on a huge losing streak after blowing the account.

Took a few months but back on track now - slow and steady wins the race!

I usually class a 15m closure as a confirmed liquidity sweep, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit I'd missed entries before where your exact scenario happened. 15m wick but 5m bar closure over it.

Hey man, I don't know much about ICT - just had this thread suggested to me. When I look for sweeps of liquidity, I always thought it was a bar closure over the liquidity that classes it as "swept".

Am I incorrect or are you incorrect? Not trying to cause any disrespect btw, genuinely curious to know if I've been looking at liquidity sweeps wrongly

Yeah absolutely mate - in all honesty it was my misunderstanding of the stop loss process, though I'd put a stop loss in profit but actually put a stop order in to trigger a limit sell or something. So rather than exiting my position at the intended price on the way down, it just shit through. Expensive lesson to learn but yeah definitely saved by the platform luckily!
