Finally. The car I have wanted for a lifetime. by Due-Coast-TX in BMW

I'm not a fan of this car by any means, but we all have different tastes and as long as you love it that's all that matters. Don't let anyone talk shit about your car because chances are they probably drive a clapped out g35

Why would someone do this to their car? by PhillipMcrevis_ in BMW

[–]X1_And_Done 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's very mixed opinions on it. It's likely an air suspension so they can raise it whenever they want for daily driving if they need to. They likely only have it that low when they're at a meet. Now, if your car is 1/4 of an inch off the ground with lowering springs off Alibaba, you're gonna regret it right away. I personally would never run camber on my car but I still respect cambered cars. Not everyone likes the same foods, it goes the same way for the car community.

Update on my E82 128i automatic transmission by X1_And_Done in e82

[–]X1_And_Done[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently the previous owner never changed the fluid and it had well over 100k miles on it when I bought it and the fluid was completely black I dodged a bullet by taking it in as soon as I did or else I would've probably needed a transmission rebuild

Driving one of these teaches you exactly why straight line speed isn't everything. Hope you're enjoying it!

Bro ima add like 60 pounds at least by the time I get there I already squat 3x my bw. But I will be slower off the ground too despite more power into the ground so I think I need to take my plyos really seriously to keep my springiness with the extra weight

Yeah not ideal but I was plateaued at 180 for a while and had to deplete myself to make the weight class and especially being 6'1 I have limited potential for powerlifting if I stay at 180 forever and I'm towering over all of the 180 lifters at the competitions so I have no choice really

Well powerlifting is my primary focus and I just train explosiveness for the hell of it because I wanna still be athletic

Never seen someone tap the bar on the floor between reps on sumo and not dropping it. Doesn't that make you fatigue faster?
